  1. Thanks guys Running on 275/40 r17 et streets! Yup stock tail shaft... And trust me I was scared I would break it hahaha. I did get a 1.666 ft as well earlier but was a 11.56 @ 120
  2. So it's been awhile but I went to the drags on Wednesday and smashed my PB 11.46 and a 1.6 60ft! I do recon I could get a 11.3 maybe a 11.2 if it was cold enough. My first run was a 1.81 60ft and 121 mph but a 11.58 then I just had continues runs. My 60ft was always about 1.6-1.7 for the rest of the night but 11.5's my 11.4 came after resting the car for about 40 minutes. Heat soak sucks :( I do have a nizpro cooler sitting in my spare room though So always keen to keep trying :D
  3. Well I all ready have the nizpro cooler, hot side pipes and cold side pipes to hook up to a nizpro plenum ( just dont have the plenum ) and the air intake I bought a while ago. I have a 800hp plazmaman cooler now which seems to suffer a bit at 350 rwkw. It has the cold side piping which goes up behind the air intake.
  4. Well this is awesome and unexpected haha. Just about finished paying for my wedding then the fun can begin. Just need to get my hands on the new surge tank, plenum and then im good to go! What sort of fuel lines and fuel rail will I need? Will a process west or plazmaman fuel rail do the job? Or is it a little more complicated? Also just curious though with my question about the N/A bottom ends? Are the bottom ends the same, size wise? Just the obvious differences with weaker rods ect?
  5. Oh wow haha. I thought I was getting Into built motor territory. So even at 107xxx Kay's it should handle it fine? I've had it since 60 thousand and serviced every 5-7000 Kay's.
  6. Wow really? I thought 400 would of been pushing it haha. Mods will be a nizpro cooler kit, id 1000's full exhaust, twin fuel pump set up and turbo mods. Anything else I should get? Ill be chucking a head stud kit in and some valve springs as I still have the factory ones! Haven't failed me yet! * touch wood *
  7. Gday guys I have a 2007 bf mk2 xr6 turbo and ive grown tired of 350rwkw and looking to go for the 400 and run a high 10. So I still wanted around a 350 rwkw street tune and full united e85 track tune but want to make sure my car will handle it. I have all the supporting mods but I would be changing the surge tank with 044 pump to a process west twin DW300 system im thinking. So I have been looking for info and cant seem to find a definite answer. With the N/A bottom ends are they same as a xr6t just the rods and pistons ect are different. Would I be able to build a n/a bottom end and stick my head onto it? What else would I need to do other then rods, pistons and a head stud kit? What about fg f6 bottom ends? I read somewhere that there not the best options as compression ratios are different but are still good for about 440rwkw with a bf head? If that's not the case then I have a mate who works at ford and can get me a fg f6 bottom end for close to 2 grand and would be an easy option. How much power could my engine hold with a full tank of e85? Its just clocked 107 thousand kays but is only driven for a week out of 3 because I work away. Ill be taking the plazmaman kit off and putting a Nizpro kit on as well. Thanks for the help guys.
  8. Was talking straight line but after a week they seem to have improved massively! Turning and straight line is soooo much fun! hahaha. Very happy with the achilles atr sport 2's on the front!
  9. Well I have the new achilles atr2's on the front now and had the car all aligned after a not so good experience at wa suspension but we wont go there... They feel pretty good so far. I have all new super pro bushes put in with a 27mm adjustable sway bar and the car is alot more comfortable to drive now and corners sooooo much better haha. The new invos seem to be struggling more then previous sets on the rear though =/ Only had them on for about 500km so far though.
  10. Thanks for that Aaron. So I wouldn't really have any steering issues or real traction loss with them on the front? Cause the invos were great on the front but like you said leave the good ones for the rear.
  11. Would it be bad to put 235/40 r18's on the front?
  12. Launch isn't perfect which is expected but say I'm doing 80 Kay's and it goes to 100 I can put it in second and it grips... Alot of fun haha
  13. Hey guys I need some help deciding on a new set of front tyres. I have had nitto invos on front and rear and they have been fantastic with 350rwkw. I have new invos sitting in the garage but it just seems like a wast putting them on the front. Has anyone tried nitto nt555's or got anything else in mind? Size is 245/40 r18 Thanks for your help!
  14. Im interested in giving these a go. I have only ever had nitto invos since getting 350rwkw and they have been fantastic!!! front and rear. Im in need of 4 new tyres now though. I have a set of invos here ready to go but would it be ok to chuck a set atr sport 2's on the front and have the invos on the rear? Will this cause any problems any where?
  15. Well it's been ages since I have seen this thread. Went for power first haha Now I have a super pro front bush set and looking at 30mm and 22mm adjustable F&R sway bars. I also have some SSL springs. After reading some comments here, having the 30mm with the 22 on the rear will I loose rear end traction? With 350rwkw I have enough trouble haha only thing that holds my rear end is the nitto invos!
  16. Spoke to Ian diffen tyres today in Cannington. They said they will be stocking nitto tyres in about a month time when they land in the country. So finally someone locally.
  17. Ive done about 14 thousand kays since getting invos. Have about 10% before markers on the rear and about 60% on the front haha. Just bought some more from Taleb, so going to fry my rears at the drags in the next few weeks
  18. Yeah I noticed the license plate =/ Did you see the guy do it? That wouldn't surprise me if they were there taking pics.
  19. This is the cleanest I have ever seen Steves car lol
  20. Is anyone going to the Cockburn meet tomorrow morning for All ford day?
  21. They told me the same thing =/ If any one here has one and willing to lend it im more then happy to pay.
  22. Can anyone here fit valve springs? I think mine are starting to float and XFT is booked for about the next 4-5 weeks.
  23. haha To be honest im thinking of some id 1000's and some e85. Not to sure how much of a difference it would make though. Cheers mate, So do I haha. I reckon I could get to maybe 11.5 with the right launch
