  1. Hey guys So the other day I degreased my engine after a bad power steering leak. I washed away the degreaser with water. Now when I have my fog lights on they just flicker on and off. Also my driver side quarter panel indicator just stays illuminated none stop now. When I indicate right it blinks which is good but it just stays lit up now. Where would I first start looking to solve these problems? Has anyone has this happen before?
  2. Hey guys So the other night my thermo fans decided they didn't want to work. Ive just put a multi meter on the plug (engine side, Not fan side) and its showing 14v and all my fuses seem to be fine. So is there anything else that could be causing this issue or does it just sound like I need a set of fans? Just dont want to go spending money I dont have too. Also ill mention I pulled the fans out the other day and degreased around my timing cover and used a bit of water as well. So possibly water damage somewhere? Thanks guys.
  3. Sooo finally I had a win. But after a lot of stuffing around! The thread inside the pump was stripped a little and I couldn't get another one any where so I had to buy a new pump. Love having it clean in the bay. Just need to get this crank seal sorted now.
  4. Pretty sure I have. The one they gave me "suits factory 18" wheels" Just picked up another one from auto one. See how I go. The hoses look exactly The same as the one that was on there previously

  6. Soooo... -.- Repco brand parts are just as good as top brand names parts they said.... -.- Ok so I jacked the car up, spend hours smashing it with degreaser ect. Got it looking Micky mouse. Took the old hose off, fitted the bottom part first. Then I went to fit the hose to the steering pump. All seemed good I started the car and it just pissed the new oil. The flicking bolt stripped it's self -.- So now on my way to buy another hose. Here's some pics of the damage before cleaning Think the crank seal is a goner

  9. Thanks for the replies guys! Going to be changing the high pressure power steering hose tomorrow. The original plazmaman air intake I had was pushing up against that steering hose so im guessing it may have something to do with it. Have a nizpro one now so all good. Will let you know how I go. Going to be messy im sure haha.
  10. Hello Im having some issues with a oil leak in my engine bay. BF2 xr6T Does this look like the timing seal or just alot of power steering fluid or maybe something else? I had the timing seal replaced a little bit over a year ago by XFT so I wouldn't think it should be leaking yet? I know its a fair job to replace but what exactly is involved? Sump have to come out? All the pulleys need to come off? Rocker cover off? Looks like there is a fair bit of oil on the alternator so be worth just changing that while its all apart =/ Any help would be greatly appreciated! Want to hurry up and get this sorted so I can do my E85 tune!

  15. My goal is to run a 10 on e85 and keep a mid to low 11 tune for drag racing events as well. I was thinking maybe the nizpro plenum with a process west stage 2 cooler? Cause let's face it the nizpro plenum looks better is it possible to do?
  16. Hello I'm having a bit of trouble finding a straight answer. What's the comfortable power limits for a process west stage 2 cooler with plenum? On 98 and e85? Also how would it compare to a tube and fin nizpro cooler with nizpro plenum? On a bf2 xr6 with stock turbo.
  17. Hey guys Just curious to know if anyone has had a tune for both 98 and united P100? Was there much of a difference? What's the advantages of P100 over 98? Asking cause I have a united fuel station right near my house with P100 and about to go in for a retune with nizpro gear over the plazmaman gear I have currently.
  18. I've been running 350rwkw on 98 for over a year now, about 20,000 Kay's. Car has 115xxx now. It's a bf2 xr6t so f6 internals. Hasn't missed a beat on 16 psi. *touch wood* haha. As for E85 a few people have been telling me 400rwkw no worries but I'm also looking at a new bottom end just to play it safe
  19. I'm in the same boat. I bought there earlier stage 2 thinking it was bar and plate -.- I make 350rwkw now on a plazmaman 800hp cooler. Will I be able to make 400rwkw with this cooler? I'll be adding a nizpro plenum aswell and ID1000's Also E85 later in a few months. If this cooler is going to struggle I was going to upgrade to there big big one.

  22. Cheers man haha. First to second is about 5300-5500 rpm Second to third is about 5700-6000 Then third to forth I'm still practicing with. By the time I get to the line it's sitting around 5800rpm mark. Not sure if I should shift or let it rev out cause it doesn't hit the limiter before the line. Was gunna have a talk with Simon and see if I can get a couple tips. Should bring it out man. I'll be there on the 20th of November again.
