Cheers for that mate. I was going to get a after market amp any way. I guess the main thing is what does a 500 rms sub sound like with a amp but only free air. I am looking at a DD 8" sub. I used to do the whole big systems and what not but sick of having bugger all space in the boot haha. My aim is to have 6.5" splits on a amp and the sub on a amp but want nice bass. I dont want earth shattering but yeh just some nice hard hitting sound quality that I can crank up when I want it louder.

Hey guys. Just bought the bf xr turbo. Problem is the guy always had the car sitting in the sun and the dash has faded slightly in some areas. Is there any way of reconditioning it? I want it to stand out black again

Hi has any upgraded the premium sound 8" sub? How does it sound? Im looking at putting a 8" DD 1508 sub in there. Rates at about 500 rms but it wont have a ported box. It would just be sitting there on the shelf. I used to do the whole have a big box with subs and what not but I am over that whole game now and just want some nice sound quality with some good bass.

Ah ok I get it. Is that the same with all tyres? if there a 40 profile they will all be above 93? Anything lower and no insurance. I dont want any lower any way.

How do LEXANI tyres go? Found some for 125 each. Thought for that cheap if they can get me out of trouble for the mean time and they still have a decent amount of grip I will just get them. Keep them for 3 months and then burn them off and get some really good ones.

So if I got those Kumos I wouldn't be covered by insurance cause there only 92? I like the look of the federals only thing is that photo makes them look like they have nothing on the side of the tyres.

Im only new to the turbo game but doesn't this mod hurt your turbo? I have herd of blocking the blow off to get a tututu sounds. Is this what this is? Or is this different? I do badly need some sound from my engine haha. I just don't want to kill anything in the long run.

Im going under it tonight to have a look. I honestly dont know what eles it could be other then the power steering seeing as though its on that side. that's not all oil. I drained my coolant from the drain plug with the stone guard still on So down the front is just that. If its just the power steering it should be fine. Easy fix. I looked at the turbo last night and found no oil.

Fair enough, I haven't seen any 4 speeds run 10's or heard of it... Then again im only new to the turbo game.

I have noticed that as well. It has come from a really dusty area. But I have been cleaning everything and have found no rust. Just some white spots here and there. Dont know what they are though O.o They seem to clean off easy though.

Ok so I have a spare fuel filter sitting in the garage that has not been used. I just bought a bf xr6 turbo and the fuel filter looks like it hasnt been changed for a long time. Thing is, The fuel filter I have is for a ba xt but it looks exactly the same. Will it fit? Or are the fuel filters different from xt to xr6 turbo? Or ba to bf? Thanks guys.

I have 4x maxxis MA-V1's on now. They seem like a good tyre, Just haven't worn evenly. There directional tyres so I guess I will have to have a look see if I can get away with getting 2 for now. The only reason I consider the Federals is cause there so expensive in shops so for the same price as buying new nexons I could have better tyres buying from ebay. The plan is I just need decent enough grip for now with the car being stock. In about 6 months time if all goes to plan im getting a tune and a few more mods so then I will invest in some good wide tyres. Thinking 275's will be enough.

How would the Achilles compare to the nexons? Im thinking of buying some tyres off ebay. Any one done this before? I found fedderal 595 245/40 for about 180 delivered each. That seems pretty cheap. Any opinions on fedderal?
