Cool aaron. I know its nothing but I think its best I ask... Those rotors in the link say 321mm. I cant imagine them being any different for the sake of 1mm, but then again the fpv brakes are only 3mm bigger. Does it really make a difference?

I thought they were 322mm? But yeah I will be ordering them this week or next. Cant wait :D

Hey guys. Bit of a long shot. But I am new to the turbo game. Just wanted to know if anyone can give me a hand this weekend to install a earls turbo oil like filter? I can over cash or beer for the help? Or if anyone needs any help car audio wise or most things electrical just ask and I can help. I install all my mates car audio systems and help them find the best deals. But yeah I am putting new oil in this weekend and not fully confident with doing the turbo oil feed line. So if anyone can help please let me know.

The temp gauge gets to just under the half way point then drops to about 1/4 once both fans kick in or on the free way. But yeh under the bonnet its just so hot O.o Ratter: How do you get the fan settings changed?

Ok guys Had the bf xr6 turbo for nearly 3 weeks ( loving it by the way ) but I have noticed after about a 15-20 minute drive, When you lift the bonnet the engine bay soooooo hot. I have a ba xt and it doesn't even get half as hot. Now I know the turbo does get hotter but is it meant to be ALOT hotter? I have installed a 82 degree thermo but thinking of getting the 71 one now. Also what eles will keep the temp down? Is there where better oils come into play as well? Coolant has also been drained and new coolant in.

Yeah I noticed the EBC pads are pretty expensive. Im with NVT, Any other good ones but a bit cheaper? Having bendix in the past. Yeah they are good but dusty as hell O.o

So can you get rid of the filter in the block if you get a earls oil feed line?

Hi guys. Have a bf mk2 xr6 turbo. I was looking into getting a earls turbo oil feed line with the filter. But I was talking to a possible future custom tuner and he was telling me its pointless on a bf mk2 as they all ready have a filter in the block and recommended as long as it gets cleaned out every 50 thousand kays its all good. Also said you need to run better fuel of course. He said he would clean mine out for 120 bucks. So is this true or is he just trying to make a quick buck? I have read so much about people getting these filtered lines but nothing about bf mk2's.

Thanks for the replies guys. Ill look into getting some QFM HPX pads with the slotted rda rotors. I was going to try bendix ultimates but have heard there noisy as **** Can any one tell me if the QFM HPX are noisy? Or if they will chew up my rda's quickly?

Yeah mate that was another problem and another story haha. I got the connection from ford for 17 bucks Perth falcons member discount. But yeah it was a easy fix... Just annoying. All good now though :d

Cheers for that pic mate. I ended up just cutting that little hose shorter and clamping it down. It sounds louder now. Yeah I am taking the cross over off. I have big hands and a short fuse so I wouldnt be able to get it in with out taking the cross over off But yeah the small thin hose that's on the opposite side of the BOV is so short I cant turn it around with out it kinking. It is all in now and loving the sound.

Hi guys Getting some RDA slotted rotors in the next 2 weeks for a nice price of 200 for the pair. Yes they are 322mm. I just wanted to know whats the best pads to go with them? I dont do any track work and I only go down the quarter mile every now and then. Other then that its just normal weekend driving and driving to work every day. The car is a 07 bf mk2 xr6 turbo. I was thinking bendix ct's but was told from someone that ct's wear the rotor pretty fast. Is this true or not?

How exactly do I turn it around? The smaller hose is not long enough. It just kinks. Witch pipe are you talking about that would be sucking in unfiltered air?

Hi mate, Love the idea. This is one of those things where you need that kiwi wireless device ay? You should also work on a best quarter mile time Be good if we could view fault codes and not just get a code but tells you what the code means. And be able to get rid of the check engine light :D Bit like REV for the iphone. But monitoring data on the pc would be much better!

So if I just buy the kiwi wifi, I can get the boost gauge? Or do I have to get the ASL upgrade for it to show boost?
