So guys. Have never been on one of yours cruises but if we cruise on the 3rd its a double demerit weekend I was told? Also are these cruises only allowed to turbos? Or can some xr8's come? If not fully understand.

Hey guys Ok so I am starting to feel that my diff bushes may need doing. My mate has all the tools at his place as he did he xr8 not too long ago... Plus he is a mechanic lol. Ok so a couple of questions. Clearly first.... Witch diff bushes should I get? I dont want to be changing these things all the time. I want some nice strong ones but at the same time want some comfort. Also... I know my car has 2.73 diff ratio but I want to know is there any thing better? If so what sort of results can I expect? Also what it does to my fuel and comfort? Diff oil? Is there anything else that can be done to my diff to make it stronger and faster? I have done some reading about these diffs and it doesn't seem like there is much that can be done. Also getting alot of mixed opinions on other forums about this topic too.

Yeaaaaaaah I did 13.8 with a stall to 1400rpm. Could of done better but I didnt get my gear changes right or my launch and I only got 3 runs in.

How do you mean poor installation? I thought it was just a matter of "putting" them on and that's it.

Make sure they are 245/40 18 I ordered 245/40 and they got 245/45 18 and yeh... was rubbing on the upper controller arm. Tyres were federal 595's

I wasnt able to do that as I was in desperate need of 2 tyres at least. I dont see why these tyres are so bad? They are made by kumo.

Well I got them for $240 each ( a mates brother knows the owner ) but they didnt end up working. They ordered the wrong tyres, They ordered 245/45/18 and they looked so much bigger then 45 thick. They ended up rubbing on the controlle are. I didnt get far with them.... There fault though so they ended up giving me some marshals witch are made by kumo. Here is a photo of them. After putting them on. No noise, They feel great on the road. They gave them to me for $170 but said they retail for about $320. AA grip rating.

I believe there the ones I was going to get. There RDA 322mm and suit the bf xr6 turbo mk2. Better price too. Legend

Im getting brand new federal 595's tomorrow morning. 245/40 r18's. Will let you know how they go.

Well I spoke to Simon today. He did give me some good advice and the other advice was just conflicting with other tunes advice. My opinion is... I believe what Simon says as he has a massive reputation and has no need to lie to get work. He did tell me the f6 intercooler will suffer from heat stroke in summer but at this time of the year is fine for what I want. He told me for $2400 I will have 100 pound injectors and the tune done. And for a extra 300 he would fit a whole xforce exhaust im looking at buying. To me... Sounds like a top price. Is there any after market intercoolers I can get with out having to get a tune straight up? Chippa. I do have the patients for now and that's a good idea

I have spoken to Simon in the past and he seems to know his stuff. I spoke to emu performance and he told me for $5800 I will see 400rwhp and that price includes, Fully custom exhaust all stainless, 4" dump, 5" cat and twin 2.5" catback. And also included injectors and fuel pump with the xcal 3 and tune. I spoke to black mac performance and he told me $3000 would get me tune, xcal 3, 60pound injectors and no fuel pump. But the price included him installing the full exhaust I supply and the fuel pump I supply. But interesting was. Emu told me there is no point upgrading the intercooler until I get serious. Thinks a f6 intercooler will do me for 330rwkw Once I start doing things like the intake plenum it would be worth getting a big plazman one then. Black mac... Didnt say a hell of a lot. Im going to call Simon today and see what happens. All I really want is to run 11's.

Same thing happened to me. I put my BA XT on gumtree for sale. In 1 and a half hours I got the text. Said he works off shore and has bad reception so email him.... Said he would pay through pay pal and someone is coming to pick it up....
