  1. Cheers mate. Borrowed a mates set of semi MT's. They were 245/40 r18's
  2. I want to try and get a 1.8 flat or even into the 1.7's. I wasnt taking note of the rpm, Just watching my boost gauge when launching. My first couple of runs I stalled the car to 5-6 psi and it was great. So I thought I would try for 7-8 psi but my cars brakes wouldn't hold the car haha. As soon as I started to hit about 7-8 psi the car would start to slip or creep forward. So then my time would start and I couldn't get that harder launch I wanted. My hand brake only holds my car to about 1000-1200 rpm so I will need to get that fixed. Then maybe I might be able to get more off the line? Or some 4 or 6 pot brakes haha.
  3. Here is a photo of how the intercooler sits Also a quick engine bay shot which has been cleaned since. I went down the drags 2 weeks ago and ran 12.02 with the invos, My mph was 120 and 60" was 2.1 which I was babying off the line. Just hoping the rain stays away this week so I can have another crack.

  7. haha I spoke to a couple shops down this way and a couple said if the brakes arnt shuddering I dont need to machine them. Which there not shuddering. There just slightly glazed and burnt. I still would of thought this would still decrease the braking power?
  8. Hello I have some dba 4000 t3's on my xr6t. Recently they have become very burnt and look glazed. There only about a year old and have been taken down the drags a few times. Is it ok to get these machined? And if so what pads should I go for next? I had ebc red pads in there and im guessing maybe they were contributing to the rotors burning? Correct me if im wrong please. Thanks guys
  9. that's odd I know a couple people now who found the invos better then the ku31's =/ Really interested to see what they can do now. Those 2 channels in the tires are quiet big but I guess maybe that helps them do well in the wet? I know when it was stock last raining season they did a pretty good job compared some crap like achilles. Its awesome haha. You missed out mate haha
  10. I think mine are 260. 245/40 r18 Really hoping the rain stays away!

  15. Hello I have a 2007 bf mk2 xr6 turbo sedan in the color breeze. 6 speed zf, Full sports leather, Premo sound, duel zone ect ect. I bought it about a year and a half ago with 60,000 kays on the clock. Love the color! I took it down the drags a few times and started off getting 13.8's then worked my way down to 13.44 @ 103mph and ran a couple more 13.4's after that but 13.44 was the best. I had been collecting parts on the side for about a year and finally got a chance to get it tuned. Had the car dropped off to XFT and came back with this result and was very happy! On the 5th run it did come up with 348rwkw. Go fast bits are. 800hp plazmaman cooler with 3" cold side 4" dump 5" 100cell cat and twin 2.5" catback. 4" air intake and moved the battery to the boot Process west surge tank with bosch 044 pump 12 psi actuator and wastgate modded 60lb injectors Running 16 psi Cant wait to get it down the drags now!!!!!

  17. So I got my car back from XFT this afternoon... It feels incredible!!! :D
  18. Great post mate. I just finished doing this. I ran 4 gauge from the starter motor and 4 gauge from the fuse box. I ran them both to a distribution block and then 0 gauge to the battery. Running it under the car was alot easier then ripping the inside of the car apart. Also used a 150amp fuse. Not sure if that's a bit much or not?
  19. Mate what a crock of sh*t. Even if he did try to fix it he would of just made it worse =/
