  1. Hahaha if youve never done anything like it before it can be very overwhelming. It's good fun though and very rewarding when you first turn it all on and crank it up.
  2. What fitting is needed to fit the FPV gauge back in?
  3. Rapid systems do a piping kit that you can run a turbo side intake with.
  4. Hit up process west. They'll sort you out with every thing you need. All the hoses get replaced one way or another.
  5. Sorry to hear that. I live in hedland and drove 1600kms past Barth to get my f6 tuned at XFT. He tuned it to where he was comfortable that I could drive it anywhere (use poor quality fuel) at anytime of the year. Sacrificed a few killer wasps but looked after my pocket. I've heard mixed reviews of BB and decided even though it's a huge pain in the arse to have to drive to Perth for a retune it is well worth it. Also they are not tuners, they are a machine shop with a dyno. 400kw on 95 and reliable will be big dollars.
  6. ^ Hahaha if I had've known that I might've bid on it! Nizpro gear straight outta the box looks average but some of my favorite engine bays have the nizpro plenum and coil cover.
  7. The one above went for 980 with ported and polished lower runners. Fair price IMO. I didn't like that it had the writing ground off which turned me off.
  8. Stealth way of fitting spaceship engines to falcons
  9. Yeah. I'll wait and something will come up again. Got holidays n all sorts of stuff comin up so the money is better off in the bank. It would have ended costing too much anyway. Buy the plenum and coil cover, then I'd want them and a few other things powder coated, then id want other things polished, and a shiny BOV, then if fitting all those parts I may as well get a surge tank, then if I had one of them I may as well get a 98 tune while I'm there and it just goes on and on
  10. Well I'm outta the race for this one. I was going to put a very competitive bid on it and the coil cover going on eBay ATM, but my tax return was poxy so it'll have to wait till next round of mods. I'll just have to settle for a new nizpro exhaust and fitting my cooler & intake setup on this yrs trip to XFT :( I was really growing fond of a fancy looking engine bay.
  11. When I had my BA XR6 I put an XR6 turbo manual diff out of a 6sd manual (3.73 LSD). My car was a 4sd auto as well, this was a good value upgrade.
  12. Car audio from the US is the best way IMHO. The price on some items is almost half what aussie prices. Items get to me in similar times to what they would from east coast, 16 days (11 working days) from order to my door from US on 32kg of subs! should be quicker to nearly everywhere in Australia. I've bought HU, amps, speakers, subs, dynamat, cable and general install accessories from USA and been very happy with the deals. Just buy off reputable sellers. Warrantys overrated on good quality gear.
  13. Nice, I've always wanted a cars on bags. The body looks mint. Good work!

  15. The rear speakers are easy to get, pull the trim off the top of the boot out (inside boot, under parcel shelf) you'll find the wires there. I got key power from the power plug under ICC. You can get fronts (and rears if you prefer, both on left side) from inside the kick panels (which you'll have removed for running speaker wires from your amp). Do a search on factory speaker wire colour and locations.
  16. I'll happily take that nizzer plenum off your hands PM me if your keen mate
  17. So do any of you's have any doubt as to it being a genuine nizpro plenum?
  18. If the stereo interconnect is a line level converter then the easiest way is to join them to the rear speaker wires, then plug it into the amp inputs. Run speaker wires from the amp to the factory locations. Install the new speakers in these locations. Run a 4 gauge power wire from the battery to the amp +. Run the same gauge wire from the amp - to a spot of bare metal on the car (prolly have to sand it clean) and bolt it in. You may also need a trigger wire to turn on the amp. Keyed power.
  19. What do you think of the one in the link above Ralph? Looks like a nizpro one and comes with thermostat housing and top rad hose.
  20. Yeh that's the one I'm trying to identify
  21. Hi guys Im just trying to find out if nizpro have ever changed their plenum design? If so are the older style any good? Also have anyone made plenums that look similar/knock offs to the nizpro ones? Possibly with out the writing on top. Cheers
  22. I just got the same setup off them. Plazmaman air box with basic 90* intake pipe with the wrong size hose tails welded in it. You get what you pay for. Its good for the price. Do a search on them and you'll find out the major issues people have and ARE STILL having with the gear.
  23. Spend the money you wouldve on a cooler and get the fault rectified before you go trying to upgrade. To get your money's worth from a cooler you will need a tune. Get injectors and tune it first off for value for money. Just my opinion.
  24. Coming along nicely
