Had a TCE converter in my C4 package. $1650ish with upgraded sprag etc, stalled to 3500rpm on footbrake, higher on transbrake but was really loose on cruise. Recommend you go to a 10.5" diameter converter > 9" converter

Anyone in need of some Siemens DEKA Injectors? Have 2 sets of six pretty much new, ie. less than 2,000kms on them & 1 set that is slightly more used, ie. 10,000kms+. $300ea for the newer sets & $250 for the more 'weathered' set. All are flow matched Genuine Siemens items & getting rid of them as I no longer require aftermarket I6 gear. Will give it a few days in here, then they go in the Classifieds section.

A broken engine/box/diff costs a hell of a lot more than a set of Bilsteins. Just sayin...

Full set of Bilstein's will set you back $1000. If that's too dear, I think you should hold off on modifying your car any further for now as sh*t gets expensive (both maintenance & repairs)...

Ah ok, have the same style dipstick on my TH400 & C4. Never leak, so better than cable ties on stock stick! What diameter cooler lines are you running? Seems to be quite alot of pressure in that case if it's pushing that much fluid out each pass...

It amazes me that they will kick someone out for not having a harness when running 176km/hr+ in a street car, yet they will allow a 150mph car run low 9's with no chute :banghead: Do they not realise that a harness will infact make a street car with no cage more dangerous in the event of a rollover? Not being able to move your head out of the way when the roof comes crashing down will cause catastrophic injuries. They're complete douchebags! Drop exhaust off before cat section & go for a drive. This will either fix your issue or rule out possibility of dead cat. Also check each clamp/silicone joiner very closely. It only takes a tiny crack in a joiner or a slightly loose clamp to cause a rather large boost leak once under pressure.

It's no real surprise that these cockheads still pissy drive as the penalties are a joke. You get more punishment for turning your tyres off the line at a set of lights than you do for being 3 times in excess of the limit ffs! Similar story with a mate of mines sister & the offender copped a minimum sentence after killing 2 people. Makes me sick & very angry to hear these sorts of things. RIP.

R1R's are a completely different tyre. R888's are an R-Comp, R1R's are a Semi-Slick. R888's would not do too well at the drags imo due to stiff sidewall construction. Have never tried them however

How was it allowed to do more than 1 run without a chute?
