  1. How much power are you putting thru yours...? Transbrake..? What size stall..?
  2. How cold is to cold..? Does anyone know the optimum temp..? Im running a pretty big cooler 280x250x50 and with the B&M pan took 13litres from empty.
  3. Didnt get above 100 on the dyno. An now with it back it the car I am using a new engine oil cooler for the trans and while cruising and around town (stop start in traffic) it doesnt get above 60degrees. Can the trans run to cold...? I havent tried the transbrake as yet
  4. Sorry to spam this thread I hope so as it was built by someone whos name I have see on here before. I was told when it was fixed here in tassie that it was full of good bits. Just dont know why it would slip unless it wasnt setup correctly. It worked perfect on the dyno with over 50 pulls at 400+rwkw The first bit of spirited driving on the street it died. Its not like it was loaded up much as it would lose traction coming on boost in every gear.

  6. I just used Transmax Z again. If I had my time over I would have gone with a glide over the C4 as I dont know it this will be up to the task anymore. Currently pushing 475rwkw thru it at 24psi. The box would be lucky to have done 1000ks and already needed to give it a freshen up and it burnt out the clutches

  8. What trans fluid do you run in your auto. My C4 has just had a freshen up and Im looking for an opinion on fluid before I put it back in the car.

  10. I havent had much to do with autos before and am running a built C4 in my skyline with a 26/30. Car was recently tuned at 475rwkw. Took the car for a bit of a run out on the back roads and loaded it up in top gear and something has broken. It has lost drive in all forward gears but still has reverse. Does anyone have any ideas what has broken before I pull the box out.

  12. Have changed my mind on E85 for now so am going to stick with the 1000cc injectors and pump fuel so if anyone is after some 2000s make an offer

  14. Arias pistons and spool rods. The block has also be half grout filled to stop flex so should be strong at 8500rpm+
  15. The kit and wheels is how it came from japan. Ive owned it for over 7 years. The kit is something different and the front bar I have never seen another like it. Its not everyones taste and I dont care how it looks, im just after good power and it weighs in at 1380kgs so 500rwkw should get it moving well. I havent had a change to race it with the 3lt or with the auto but once the season starts again in Tassie will be giving it a good work out. Not sure how many runs I will get as it doesnt have a cage. The current setup is a forged RB30 bottom end, ported RB26 head with 280degree 10.8mm lift cams, backed by a C4 auto with a transbrake, 3800 stall and single fogger nos kit jetted at 150hp.

This is how the first round of mods ended up Car: Nissan Skyline R33 GTS-T Engine: RB25DET Engine mods: TD06-20G turbo on high mount manifold Tomei cams and cam gears Forged pistons Blitz external wastegate and screamer pipe Blitz fmic Haltech E11V2 Splitfire coils Exhaust: 3 inch from turbo Gearbox: Standard Clutch: Custom single plate 3700lb Diff: Gtr mechanical lsd Suspension: Tein Wheels: 18 inch 245 tyres Stereo: Alpine IVA-D300E 7" touch screen dvd Pioneer TS-A1680S 220w front Pioneer 6x9 rear Was: Power: 269.6rwkw @14.2psi Performance: 12.426 @ 117.04mph ] I got bored with the single TD06 turbo and fitted a custom twin setup for something different. lol This is with a 3lt bottom end and RB25 head. In the car. Changed plans again and pulled the twins off and added this Mounted off one of these 6boost manifolds And you guessed it. Changed plans again. Now have a built 26/30 The first 26/30 made 420rwkw @ 19psi on 98 pump fuel and with a 50/50 mix 98/avgas made 475rwkw @ 24psi. We then found a major oil problem that caused some bad damage. End result was a bent crank, spun bearings and damaged block. The next 26/30 has just been fitted and will hopefully be fired up in a few week. Will be running 2000cc injectors and E85 so should make 500+
  18. What size trans oil coolers are you guys running and what temps are you seeing with what power levels..? I have a R33 skyline Im running a 26/30 but it is fitted with a C4, 3800 stall. I have a PWR 280x255x19mm cooler but am worried it isnt going to be enough. The engine previously made 475rwkw but its had more work done so will be 500+ now so dont want to over heat the box.   19. Did anyone have a trans temp gauge to compare before and after...? I have the h/d pwr cooler in my 26/30 powered R33 skyline with a C4 auto and am worried that the cooler wont be enough. I have a temp gauge but car isnt running to test before and after.
  20. What is the price of the Garrett GTX4508 and how does it compare spool wise compared to the T51 as Im looking to upgrade my turbo also
  21. If anyone in Tas is after some big bosch injectors I have some 2200cc that are the same style as ID2000s.
