yeah 4lbs, I had the gauge checked when the car was on the dyno. This is what flew out and rolled down the track when I tried 6lbs off the line. The car had a great 60ft and 1/4 time(11.02) for only 350rwkw,because of the near stock setup(stock cat back and intercooler) helped the turbo to spin up instantly to make loads of torque very low in the rev range ( but held back power high up). And as we all know,the 60ft is the most important part for a decent 1/4 time.

On the second run after I had done the 11.02, I twisted the tailshaft.(I am sure I would of got that <10.99 with in the next few passes) I ended up not racing or spending any more money on that car because I knew as soon as I got that <10.99 its racing days were over.

Once I done the 11.2, I ran again at the next street meet with the auto tuned, but the autos hard shifting wouldn't let the invo's hook up even with the 350rwkw. I think for myself to come close to a 10 with a 245, I would need another 30rwkw & using only the stock auto tune. maybe using a 2 speed boost controller for that extra 30kw to come in from the middle of second gear, or better a shot of nos !

that's the quickest ive heard of.Great stuff. Was the power 400rwkw+ ? I know of a 11.15 BF and a 11.2 FG on the invo's. I think there is afew cars trying to get a 10 on true streets tyres ATM.

$830 total trade price.1 wreckers wanted $1000 s/hand. I didn't want to wait around getting a stronger unit made up and I don't plan on getting anymore power, next time if the et's start to spin I will be backing off straight away.

I picked up a new tail shaft from ford this morning and fitted it up.all good now.(it's been superseded with a new number/shaft hopefully its stronger) I may take the auto out and give it a reco before my next run down the 1/4.(it hasn't been happy lately). With the extra boost off the line,a 10 must be on the cards.

I just ran again at Calder Park with 245/40/18 et streets. 1st pass 4lbs off the line 11.02 @124mph 1.62 60ft. Next run 6lbs off the line, lots of wheel spin goes into 2nd gear grips.... bang. Twisted tailshaft and broken diff coupling. Track staff runs up, say there was oil droped on the line from the car that was in front of me!! they never seen it until after I took off !!
