  1. Hey all just wondering if I could have ideas thrown at me to look over for my problem, I have my BA xr6T tuned at 312rwkw at 15psi I have just had my rear housing of my turbo replaced with a 7psi actuator and bigger flapper mod, I have put my turbo back on after the mod. Now when ever I give it throttle it will build up to around 4-6psi then make a noise kinda like a cooler pipe is poping open a little and letting pressure out and it then drops to 0 psi until backe off and will go back to 3psi for example. I will be checking the hoses tonight but what else could it be if anything else thanks And what would the result be of me putting the actuator lines on the wrong way As I didn't pay much attention taking them off and winged it Thanks
  2. well that's not including labor I think he said $3200 with, ill needa ask everything his gonna do and post it up
  3. Well he said that's full built and ready for 350rw gaurenteed, and that includes the high stall an he mentioned bands etc I didn't go to much into detail cos tbh I have no clue how the inside f a auto trans works
  4. Okay so I'm looking at building my 4speed in my BA xr6 turbo to handle around 400rw max, Iv talked to mv automatics in Adelaide and they have said they don't warranty any higher than 350rw rated, he has said that they have had plenty of people run higher power with that build, It's gonna cost $2800 for the bulls plus my postage of the trans to them So does the price sound good? Has anyone ever used mv autos in Adelaide or do you suggest anyone else in Adelaide? and just any other suggestions ie. what stall should I get and stuff Thanks
  5. Yeah I'm looking at taking it out and sending it off to be built up, I just went on the guess of 70kgs but they said its the size not weight because it's on a pallet so that's alright
  6. Just wondering if anyone's had there 4speed out and can give me a rough weight of it Thanks
  7. Okay so at first I thought it was coil packs again, and I was playing around with them, I didn't think to check my dtcs so I did and I had a b and c coil fault from when I played with them. Iv since cleared the dtcs and it's hasn't seemed to have do e it since, I dunno if it's maybe coincidence? But could having the dtcs there cause it to maybe do this or defs v springs ?
  8. Okay thanks, I'll give my tuner a ring tonight and see what he says
  9. Serious!? I have had heavy duty ones put in from my tuner -.- awesome
  10. Hey guys not possative where to put this. Iv got a BA xr6 t 312 rw So pritty much I give the car a boot it's all sweet then after when Im just cruising it runs rough like its dropping a cylinder, what could really cause this problem ? Thanks
  11. okay so I got my 2005 ba mk2 turbo about 2 weeks ago from the dealer it has 77,000 on the clock and the turbo is rooted already I haave really only gave it one good boot since having it racing a mate and since that it will now and the make a grinding noise after around 2500 revs, when shuting down the car you can hear it grinding and I have also took the inlet pipe off to find it has alot of play fowards and back wards and side to side, it goes in to the shop in aa few day to get looked at and then most probably fixed , by warrenty thank god. so iv been reading everything so far and all I can think it would be is the car yard has not changed or checked the oil lines and filter or they have used the wrong oil. so I was just wondering if anyone has had a problem with the oil lines once they have replaced them with the stainless steel braided lines at all? or did this seem to solve the blockage? of course with regular services on the filter . and is there anything else I should be changing or checking once I get it back after warrenty . thanks .
