I know there is other threads about this but none on the BF, It's a BF2 ZF XR6T, I took it to my local mechanic and they put there scan tool on it, it only came up with one code P2105 (forced shut down) Throttle actuator control module. Due to electronic TB when the computer loses signal from the tb no matter the speed the car will shut down. It's done it at all speeds, idle, 110km/hr, 50km/hr, etc. I then took it to Ford, they put there scan tool on it and it came up with a heap of codes. They said put a new battery in it and clean the TB (which I had already done and it wasn't dirty). My mechanic seems to think it's a key/remote problem (I only have one key and a broken remote). I'm torn as I have sweet FA money as an apprentice I don't want to waste my money on mechanics and parts that don't fix the problem. Yesterday it was playing up so I unplugged the tps and throttle motor looms and blew them out and reconnected, then unhooked battery and hooked it back up, and it started first go, but then stalled after I stood on the go pedal. Oh it also has one of the original capa flash tuners on it, and it has only been on since the end of november last year. This morning I went to start it to go to work and it won't even kick, not even a little bit, not starter motor noise at all. The fuel pump primes and everything else works but won't start. I am going to buy a new battery on the way home from work today, and if it starts Im going to get a new key and remotes. But I mainly won't to know other peoples thoughts, especially if they have had this problem.
