  1. that's just going to cost your more. Best to buy bit by bit, or save up and buy everything at once, and put it all on at once. Otherwise you'll need a retune every time you make a change.
  2. Clubber goes off on a thursday night. I have been there a few times, have always regretted it at work on the Friday though.
  3. People will correct me if I am wrong, but if you don't change the rods on a pre-06/06 model, the stock rods will melt at 350-400rwkw
  4. Had a good night guys, that ute of yours is a beast Ben.
  5. Might head down there mate. Always keen for a cruise, the wallet... not so much
  6. Over 5 years later, the thread is still active...
  7. Do you think he would notice if you swapped the engines round?
  8. I heard about that one as well, the guy was on ACA sometime last year, he's never lost any demerits or paid any fines or something because he takes everything to court and wins.
  9. I can vouch for Steves sounding nice. When that thing went passed on the freeway, man... you owe me new pants...
  10. They'll usually knock off a few kays due to the margin of error. I'm not sure if it would be enough to knock you down into the lower bracket though.
  11. He probably still thinks I have the Ego FG haha. Haven't spoken to/seen him in ages! Also, regarding everyones advice with exhausts. I had a look today, sorry for all the confusion. It has single pipe back to single muffler which then splits into twin 3" tips, now it looks like the piping cat back to muffler is around 3.5-4" because it appears bigger than the tips, unless of course the tips are only 2.5" but I don't think so. It's really hard to say, I no SFA about exhaust systems haha.
  12. I think I'm missing something here. My exhaust isn't a single 3 inch at the tip, it's a twin 3" cat back. I didn't put it on, don't have the stocky. Regarding the classifieds, hopefully something like that will be there mid-late next month. Unfortunately, don't have the funds to spare at the moment. :(
  13. I'd be happy to help out where I can.
  14. That is a killer buy, I actually have a mate looking to get into the turbo game, forwarded it to him. Spewing, if I didn't have finance on my car, I would sell it and get this haha! So, is this someones from the forum?
  15. I think you're onto something! I'll ring him up and order some gear, back out once it's in stock, you call him up and ask if he's got it!
  16. Looks killa mate! That is a perfect height. What size are the rims on it? 18's?
  17. Yep, manual. 4-5k, I have 3" cat-back zorst with a single straight muffler, so I was jut going to add onto that. Other than that, it's pretty stock. I was thinking Injectors (60lb?), pump, F6 lower snorkel, 4" dump, high flow cat, IC & piping. Tuned by Simon. What boost would I need to run for 330 do you think? Was also planning to get a Malwood option 3 in as soon as possible as my clutch is starting to slip second a little.
  18. It's only the inlet and outlet that are 3" the body is 5"
  19. Was just looking at this, not sure if it's right or not.... http://cgi.ebay.com.au/3-VENOM-High-Flow-Metal-Cat-WRX-XR6-Turbo-Skyline-VL-/250768882992?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item3a62fd7d30#ht_4050wt_940 Venom 3" (5" body) 100CPSI high flow cat - $229 Anyone know if these cats are any good?
  20. Cheers for the advice mate, appreciate it. Seeing as I've already got half the zorst sorted (cat-back) I only have to do high flow cat, not sure If I'll need to 4" dump or not. Really appreciate the suggestions on where to find which parts, it'll help bucket loads.
  21. *Votes sunday arvo cruise* Email sent regarding route ideas.
  22. +1 to some extent. When I bought my first car that I got a loan for, I almost needed my mum to go guarantor, even though I could easily afford it and was in a stable job earning a decent income. It was more the fact I was/am 18. Banks are always just trying to cover their own back.
