  1. Nope, that is just the labour. I told the bloke at Pedders that I had the part (which I don't yet) so I just needed a quote on labour and yeah he said $166 per side.
  2. I got the front wheel bearings and bushings installed at Midas a few weeks back. So would ask them to do it again. I called Pedders and they said it would be $166 per side for the rears...
  3. So it seems ha. As said in my above post where I linked to the hub bearing I got for the front, that is what I am looking to get for the back as a pair. As far as I know I only need to replace the bearings...
  4. Thanks. Whilst I understand it is best to spend the money when it comes to something such as a car, given safety etc. That is more than I was hoping to spend. I do appreciate the link though, and reply.
  5. Hey mate, Thanks for your reply. Yeah I am looking to do both as I find it silly to not do both at the same time. I am looking to replace the whole hub. These are the type that are now on the front: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Quality-Long-Durability-Ford-Falcon-AU-BA-ABS-Front-Wheel-Bearing-Hub-A-Pair-/221097776423?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item337a745527 So am looking for the same kind of thing for the back now. Just not 100%.
  6. Jeeeeeez! That looks rough as guts, mate. Hope ya all sorted now. Mine aren't in that condition. I just got told they could hear some noise from the rear and when I get my car up to 70-90KM/h the noise is very noticeable, so am looking to replace the rear wheel bearings to correct the issue. Just needing a nudge in the right direction on what to get. Am currently looking at these: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/TWO-REAR-WHEEL-BEARING-KIT-FORD-FALCON-EA-EB-ED-EF-EL-AU-BA-BF-FG-XG-88-98-2985-/191048699927?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item2c7b63d017 They note this: FORD FALCON AU BA BF WAGON (1998 - ON) NOTE: BEAM AXLE Noticed they have some other ones for $100. So yeah. After some clafification.
  7. Hi - again. I thought I would pop in and ask you guys a question, seeing as everyone here was more than bloody helpful last time! You blokes got me sorted out and on the right track quick smart. I recently got my front wheel bearings replaced and got also @senna_t helped me source bushings for my car. Beauty! All installed etc. I got my car back and the blokes said I would need to possibly get the rear bearings done also. So I am looking around on ebay trying to find what I need. If anyone is able to help - again - it would be so bloody appreaciated. Cheers guys.
  8. Thanks. I will shoot him a message. He actually works for Wholesale suspension? If so I could also call them, yes?
  9. Thanks for your input. I have no idea who Pat is, and I live in Brisbane.
  10. Ah ok, thanks for clearing that up. Well, I think they have had a good life, I am the second owner of the vehicle and I have had it since 2010 and got told by Ford bloke in 2012 that they would need looking at. So I finally got around to it a few years later. So they have had a good run. I am also running it stock, no mods of any sort, just a stock XR6T Manual. Just need to know what to get haha.
  11. Sorry, I didn't mean to come across as impatient. I have had a lackluster day of sitting at the PC, so. My apologies. Thanks for your reply. I don't understand NVH? And yeah, I don't drive my car very hard, sometimes I will give her a kick in the guts, but not often. So I am after something that is reliable and will last more than anything. So I am open to suggestions.
  12. G'day, I had a look on the forum here before posting this and couldn't quite come across what I was after, or I am bloody blind. You fellas were helpful before in advice on front wheel bearings. Anyway, according to Ford I need to get the Diff Bush - centre replaced. They said $490 but I think I can get it cheaper. I was just after some advice on what part to get exactly, part number wise etc. So I can maybe source it off ebay or alike. Any help would be appreciated. Cheers.
  13. Thanks for the replies, guys. I ended up buying the ones I linked in my first post. I am guessing I missed something...going on about first post and bieber. That was confusing...
  14. Ha. I am not that mechanical savvy. I purchased the ones I linked too though. Thanks for letting me know they are the correct ones for my 03 XR6T. Is appreciated, mate.
  15. Thanks for the reply. I won't be replacing them myself, hell no haha. I was just wanting some advice on the part itself. I will pay someone to put them in. Just trying to get the part cheaper.
  16. G'day all, Here to ask some advice from you lot, yas know a heck of a lot more than me in regards to cars. I have a 2003 XR6T Manual, and was told some months back that I'd need to get my front wheel bearings changed. I am in Brisbane by the way, spoke to a Midas and they said $540 and another Midas quoted me $460. I am trying to get out of it for less if I can, which I am sure is understandable. So I was looking in ebay and came across these, would these slot in fine? and does anyone know any info about the make of these, if they are going to be reliable etc. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/220872359859 Ford Falcon BA BF With ABS Front Wheel Bearing Hub Pair - $65.50 Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers.
  17. What year model is yours though? Main reason for this post was to get some ideas off people as to if they knew where I might be able to find some.
  18. Um ok then mate. Personally I think they'd look good. I am talking about the grey pattern part of the seats being purple (phantom). Saw it in an XR6T ute and it looked mint.
  19. Hi all, I own a XR6T with the Phantom body colour. Is an '03 BA. I was wondering if anyone knew where I could get the seat trim with the Phantom colouring on it. My dad has an 05 XR6 with the blue seating decal colour and it looks proper good. Am just wanting to find that for my car, but in phantom. If anyone has any info that would be great! Thanks.
