Had mine blocked with chair stoppers for 5 months, put the BOV back on few months ago, now I really miss the noise lol, time to block her back up again! Was funny at my last service at ford they mentioned that my BOV was missing? I laughed and said yeah I know. They reckon not running would make my turbo die. They insisted that I pay over $300 for them to fit a new one, just laughed and said no thanks.... mines sitting at home.

mine does the same, but diff bushes are shot, and so is my tailshaft dampner. clunk clunk thud!

Kinda looked like the dude Andrich's turbo from AFF, http://fordforums.com.au/showthread.php?t=278&page=626 But his calipers are yellow, and diff wheels, unless he changed em? Who knows.

Oh I see... cheap ass things didn't last long, that's for sure hehe. Might have to grab a new set then.

All of mine have been broken off for about a year now lol. Would that cause any problems like vibrations or anything? Didn't think they really did much.

Hey all, well tonight for some reason my dead stock 07 bf xr6t is making fluttering noise. Has never happened before, but for some reason tonight when I left work, when I'd take my foot off the accelerator a bit, it would start to flutter. Does this mean that the stock BoV might not be working anymore? I checked all the hoses etc, everything was connected and tight. Any ideas on what could be causing it?

Took mine out over the weekend to see what it was like, no blockage at all. At 114,000k and still hardly any play in the turbo as well. If your car has been looked after I say keep the factory setup.

Hey guys just wondering what this could be.. After accelerating and taking my foot off the car jerks/shudders? Would this most likely be transmission or shagged diff bushes? 2007 bf mk2 xr6t, tranny is a zf 6spd. Currently 113,000k on her, at 100,000k I had the transmission fluid replaced, but wasn't a full flush.

Hey guys well finally got myself a gym membership at jetts, seeing as it is 5min down the road from me and 24/7. Works good because I work in the arvo and finish at 10:30. anyways thought I'd give that Craze stuff a try, since I've never had a pre workout supplement before. All I can say is that stuff is insane... my energy levels are crazy. Took some before work Friday arvo and couldn't stop moving. It does seem to have some minor side effects though, it really makes my mouth dry, even though I probably drink 3ltrs or more of water during my 8hrs at work, and I've noticed it makes me more aggressive towards people. Really easy to set me off. Is that normal? Either way I love the stuff, thanks for recommending it!

anyone know anywhere besides ford where I could get new window molding? I'm talking about the ones that sit right below the side windows, the black metal strip?(least I think they are metal) mine are all sun damaged and tired of looking at them.

2007 bf mk2 113000k averaging 12.2 L/100 right now with 60% highway 40% town, and few squirts here and there. usually getting around 460k per tank on bp 98 also not sure if they changed my fuel filter last service, might look into that.

Hey all, just wondering if anyone has had this problem before. When I accelerate and take my foot off, even if it's gently, the car does a jerking motion, seems to happen from the front of the car. Not sure what this could be, but only after acceleration? Had my mounts replaced recently too. Was doing this even when they were bad. Any info much appreciated. Also to add when it jerks, it makes a thud noise. Im not sure if it's my diff bushes? Ford told me they needed replacing.

Not all ford are bad, I take mine to Bremer ford in ipswich, they do a pretty spot on job if I do say so, very thorough. Just depends I guess.

Just bought 4 forceum hexa's from ozzytyres. so far so good. grip has been really good even in the wet, so right now I can't fault them. not too noisy either. only paid $104 per corner, so can't be happier right now. Previous tyres were kenda on the fronts and kinforest? on the rears. never heard of them, they came with the car and were total rubbish... didn't grip for crap even when dry.

hey mate might not be relevant but I had the same problem with mine, (sedan) though. Mine turned out to be the transmission crossmember rubbers were all worn and cracked. Got them replaced and no more clunking from take offs etc for me. 6sp zf auto though.

Had the same problem with mine, changed plugs, and coils. Did nothing. Recently found it to be my injectors, since I changed them she's running perfect now.

wow forgot I made this post, anyways I had replaced my plugs and coils, still was doing it. Just recently got the damn thing fixed. Found out it was my injectors all this time.. duuur me.

sounds like my car mate. Getting a fuel pressure test done shortly. Have vibrations, and I've heard the ticking noise under the bonnet. Tried to check turbo bolts, but for the life of me I can not get my heatshield bolts off :|

oh, anything is possible I guess. The one thing that confuses me is that everything I read on my symptoms, I always see Increased petrol consumption. My average at the moment is 11.6L/100k, I usually get 480-500k per tank, been this way since I bought the car 7 months ago too. confusing :|
