  1. Multiple fingers on the pressure plate were bent. Given how incredibly different the clutch feels now compared to how it always (not just recently) felt on the Monaro, I am suspecting that the pressure plate was in a bad way for a while before it finally gave in on Putty. One (or more) of the fingers bent so far that the plate could not flex and disengage. All fixed within 24 hours under warranty, including a 150Km tow truck journey. It wasn't even being driven hard at the time it went. There was no clunk, no bang, no nothing. Just all of a sudden when I went to shift from 4th to 3rd, I could not depress the clutch pedal. It felt exactly like something was preventing the cutch from operating, which turned out to be exactly the case.

Shown your true colours there sbr. Rather than look upon Chrisso being an HRT supporter and a Ford XR6T Driver as a compliment to the Ford XR6T you present it as obnoxious anti-Expensive Daewoo sentiment and completely overlook the fact that it's pretty high praise for the XR6T.
  3. All, A big thanks to the organisers and also a thanks to all who attended for tolerating the lion that didn't belong :freaks: I had an excellent time and am well in awe of all your cars. To be honest, I came home and spent a good hour or so researching supercharger kits for the LS1 :cartman: For those who were concerned, I infact didn't need to top up the oil during the cruise. I did however burn over 60 litres of optimax. Thanks Holden, love that fuel economy. James (Narooma Blue Manual Monaro)
