First tune was tune & injectors @ 282rwkw but problems with pinging & trans issues. 2nd tune p/w stage 1 intercooler, high flow cat, fuel pump, injectors, typhoon air box@ 302rwkw pinged when warm. 3rd tune 287rwkw no ping but felt very sluggish off boost. 4th tune 265rwkw no ping & drives the way a tuned car should. Responsive off boost, exciting with boost with no pinging.
I'm sure the cause of my brake shudder was rotor related because as the brakes got hot, the shudder became worse. Plus Pedders were the ones who fitted my rotors and also did a wheel alignment with a safety check and said everything underneath was ok.
I'm taking it easy at the moment for at least 200kms until the rotors & pads are properly bedded in. Race brakes in Sydney recommended this set up with the stock calipers.
My cousin in Mackay just got his fpv 315 ute tuned by CPV Tuning. Stock - 270rwkw Tune only- 344rwkw & 870nm. The car is more brutal now when you stomp the pedal but still drives & idles extremely smooth.
