  1. Just what Rapid said, speak to a tuner as you will want to get the fans to come on sooner to offset the cooler thermostat. In short it's something you do when you get a custom edit tune.

    State Of Origin

So................You'd be going for NSW then. Always good to watch, although in Perth it's on about 3.00am in the morning :rokon:
  3. I've been to each of the ones mentioned and they're all F@%kin Useless. Luck of the draw I guess.
  4. Congrats on the good result The disparity between your fine and your mates hardly seems fair though, I bet he's rapted I assume he has a pretty average driving record, as an Armani clad Lawyer that probably only stated the obvious shouldn't in all fairness make that much of a difference.

    Red Wine

Nectre of the Gods I owe my alcohol dependance to the stuff.
  6. I should have learn't my lesson on this forum but it's no differenct anywhere else. The following is a result of visiting Raptor.com: Underbody protection (skids) - $750 PCIII (edit equivelent) - $470 Custom Tune - $250 Intake / Filter - $240 Dual exhausts - $1240 Nerf Bars - $450 Bumber - $290 Steering Stabilizer - $800 Pro Taper Bars/ Riser - $160 Total: $4,650 Oh and circa $2,000 of carbon fibre wheels / better tyres next on the list. Anyone else with expensive hobbies other than the T?
  7. IH8TOADS in West Perth yesterday? Nicest Wheels / colour combo I've seen on a T yet
  8. Lets not bullsh!t ourselves people even @ 240rwkw the T is a big heavy car that can get out of shape very easily. Noone spends money on modifications and then does'nt try out the new found power on the street. Regardless of age or experience I doubt there would be very few of us on this forum who haven't had "a close call" as a direct result of the extra grunt. It wasn't that long ago that alot of effort had to go into getting 270rwkw now 300rwkw is considered the norm and easy as p1ss to achieve. Simon (extreme) talked about duty of care and the Tuners responsibility not to deliver stupid amounts of power to the inexperienced and I'd be interested to hear whether he continues to stand by this. It's the mistakes we make that help us grow and there is no better example of this than on the road. Driver training is an excellent thing to do and should be a compulsory part of getting a license, however nothing is going to teach you respect like nearly killing yourself, friends or others as a result of doing "silly" things on the road. I hope none of you Respectful but relatively inexperienced 20 something drivers don't have to go through a serious incident but driving a 300rwkw taxi isn't going to improve your chances.
  9. I enquired about a year ago and you can source the bonnet grills direct from Aston Martin for $180 ea. Was kind of fun pretending to be an Aston Martin owner as you do get treated a little bit better over the phone than you do by your average Ford dealership.
  10. I agree, excellent work I toyed with the idea of giving the Aston Martin look a go, but didn't have the time or ability to follow through. If something like that/ yours was on the market I would buy it in a flash. DB9_vents.bmp

    Ghost Story

THERE ARE NO SUCH THINGS AS GHOSTS ...............If you don't believe me just ask my Mummy
  12. The official word is that Labour have given the budget a 6 out of 10......................... that must have been hard for them.
  13. Not anymore you won't............I'm guessing.
  14. To elaborate on the grim reapers comments above. Put your old exhaust back on, spend some time reading the associated threads on this forum, find yourself a tuner and get a custom tune. Your engine will be running lean because it is flowing better it is creating more boost without the delivery of additional fuel which a custom tune will sort out.
  15. After finding 17 in the picture I fell asleep (out of boredom) and dreamt I was at the zoo where I spotted a further 18. So 45 in total do I win
  16. They really are quite a strange lot aren't they
  17. Check out Casino Royale, I'm pretty sure Bond drives one for a short period (Hire car ). Looked pretty good
  18. Sometimes this place really gives me the warm fuzzies. Fordxr6turbo.com at it's best
  19. Yeh good one Tab Don't worry about getting fed bullsh1t by exhaust shops etc. because your a girl, they bullsh1t everyone. You've done the right thing by coming here to ask questions. Ask away, do some searching and soon you'll be able to run rings around most so called experts. Enjoy the new car and take it easy until you get used to it, even in stock form they can be a bit of a handful.
  20. Not familiar with this tunnel however wouldn't it have been easier just to dedicate 1 lane to trucks and trucks only, therefore allowing the other 2 lanes to operate like every other dual lane stretch of rd.?
  21. Speaking of RS4,s, what would say a 3yo one go for in the States and when can you get me one
  22. Yeh real smart It was either going to crash right through or bounce a mile. Would have liked to have seen the Bear bounce in the opposite direction and gone through the roof of the House, would have made for a softer landing.
  23. Yeh good luck with it mate. Wish I could come up with an idea that would result in me escaping my current mind numbing job. Working on the Pure Blond dietry programme at present but am struggling to get heart foundation endorsement
  24. Yep Edit, injectors and springs gave me 250rwkw and a 12.8 @113mph with a crap 60ft of around 2.3sec. Stock dunlops @ around 24lbs. At that power level my auto is still ok after some 40k with the help of a cooler, firmer shifts via edit and a shift kit (which gives instant shifts) which I only use if really giving it what for.
  25. Back when I was a lad the best mods you could do were to get rid of the rattling heat shield or fix the shuddering brakes.
