Slight throttle hum/whirr sound

Is it most noticeable when applying throttle in first and in particular when backing off in first or when it changes to second (auto) . If so sounds the same as mine. Nothing major just one of those enoying little noises that you would rather not have. -
I have read about SS vs. under headlight but both ! Has anybody done it and if so is there any noticible difference. Is there such a thing as too much air ?

The replacement for the DVB 400 is the DVB 420 retailing for $220. Whilst it is a 12 volt unit I dont know what other features are required to make it suitable for this mod. Not being tech. minded if someone can enlighten me I will research it some more.

After several "You want to do what" responses to my remove the centre muffler enquiries, eventually found a WA outlet that actually new what iIwas talking about -Mandrel bend, flanges, 2.5" with hotdogs $360 (Agreed to replace stock and refund $240 if unhappy with result) nice note, no drone and improved throttle response!!

Exhaust Heat Shield Rattle and Removal (Merged Topic)

Hoist it up, bend the heatshield away from anywhere it touches the exhaust until the rattle stops (trial & error) prob. solvered. 10mins, $10 for using the hoist and you've still retained an amicable relationship with your dealer just in case you actually need them to do something for you in the future. -
Skimmed and Shimmed @13k, signs of shudder returning @ 24k. Dealer - " Bring it in & we'll re-skim and if the shuddering returns we'll re-skim again and again & when the rotors are too thin we'll replace them and start all over again. Ford Cust. Serv. - " Still looking into the problem however at this point nothing more we can do".

I have read some pretty impressive engine mods but nothing on suspension (still finding my way around the site) Surely some of the 300KW+ T's have had the susp. tweeked. Any advice from experience would be appreciated.

Has anyone experienced their rear brakes rubbing? Initial feedback from Ford service was that the handbrake needed adjustment (which warrenty doesn't cover by the way, unless you cause a scene that is) problem went away for a month or so and then returned. Follow up with ford revealed that a tech report will soon be released acknowledging the prob. however nothiong can be done until then.
