  1. Couldn't resist finding out how the Raptor would go in a true race scenario so I entered a trail and Enduro event this past weekend. The race was a time trial event with each lap consisting of 17klm (around 20 min) of mixed MX, tight woods and both hard packed and muddy wide open paddocks. Out of 28 riders (B Grade) I posted the 6th fastest lap and given it was my first race @ 43 yo I was wrapped with the result. It was f@%kin hard work and I'm still feeling a bit battered and bruised but it was great fun and I can't wait for the next event coming up in late August.
  2. It's not the quantity but the quality that counts I've only had the pleasure of sharing an intermate moment with 25 or so girls / ladies (up to when I got married in my early 30's) however other than a couple of dubious, alcohol induced one nighters, I'm proud to say they were all worthy of my extremely high standards

    Mobile Phone

Ended up switching to 3G as you can't get this phone as well as a number of other Nokia's on a Telstra plan. Free on a $100 pmth Business Plan over 24 mths. Includes $100 worth of calls @ a rate of 9c per 30 sec. which was alot better than what Telstra / Optus could offer. I think the phone was aroound $1,290 if you were to buy it outright.

Well I ended up with one of these and my initial impressions are that your right it is a great phone that takes.............. Thanks again to all for the advice :oohwoah:
  5. If your up for it I'd be giving it back to the Landlord in spades. I'm a current Landlord and ex property manager and I can tell you it's easy for a tenant to shaft a Landlord if they don't do things in the right manner..................................the Bastards we are

This place is like choice magazine Thanks for all the responses. Nokia N75 seems like the go however Telstra aren't offering that phone at present and I'm locked into them for another two Months. Besides where I'm located there coverage is still the best when it comes to being in commercial buildings / shopping centre's etc. The Samsung A801 has a 3.2 megapixel, NextG and a fair few other features that will suit, anyone got anything good/bad to say about that phone?

    Mobile Phone

Thanks to a leaking drink bottle the old Nokia died on the weekend as a result of taking a bath in orange cordial at the bottom of a bag. Either that or I fried the internals trying the hairdryer trick. I need to get one today and as a result of hating the damn things I have sfa idea on what to look for. With my work I do have the need to take a few pics so a camera with a decent pixel count would save karting a camera around. I've also been told to go with a next G phone as the coverage is better. Other than that all the other things are just gimmicks to me, although accessing the internet would be handy. So for those of you that pride yourselves on having the state of the art mobile what should I look at. Cheers
  8. Ahhh what you whinging for then, that only equates to a little over $10 a question. I'd be more than happy to shell out $10 a shot not to answer some of the questions my wife asks me.
  9. Fark $110 a call, who was it, Madame Massage? Appeal to the Supreme Court I say
  10. Sh!t I always thought you were gay Seriously though congratulations Steve, happy for you................I think
  11. Best of both worlds eh So how do rate the thrill factor of the Raptor vs the 2 wheeler?
  12. Guilt Mortality is what I tend to be thinking about or at least for the first 15mins or so until the adrenaline kicks in. If it's any consolation I'm still watching a 10 yo rear projection TV.
  13. Well I did put it in the off topic section How to spend $3,500 on Quad suspension , +2" A-arms / +4" inch rear axle and Elka twin rated race series shock. The ultimate allrounder
  14. I guess I should have clarified it as being the passengers side rear. But hey thanks for having such a low opinion of my interlect Al:spoton: Just because I hang out here sometimes doesn't make me a complete f%kwit (Like some - Refer previous post) Just a minor one
  15. I've just had my third door lock actuator F@ck itself (first two under warranty) and my fraud dealer wants $180 for a replacement. You can forget about getting one from the wreckers 'cause it's been a design fault since the AU. One local wrecker said they have been looking into getting one designed and maufactured they were in such big demand. Anyone know an alternative fix or short term remedy such as being able to lock the door from the inside etc.?. Just need to secure the car for a day or so before I fit a new one. The tie down between the grab and door handle is only so affective
  16. I met Jarrod not long after they had got into tuning (Fitted my Valve springs) and at that point they were offering "support" should their tunes cause any issues. Their philosopy being that if you can't beat them join them. Rather than living with edit caused warranty work, Ford were supportive of Black Macs approach to provide "safe" tunes. From memory at that stage, a "safe tune was considered to be 9psi and circa 230rwkw. Interesting to hear that they are now happy to pump out 270rwkw with the same "support".
  17. Cars looking Good You won't regret a brake ugrade either, what are you thinking of doing?
  18. Damn, sorry to hear about the arm/thumb, but bones can be fixed, more importantly HOWS THE BIKE Have pushed my luck a few times and come close to giving the body armour a good workout but touch wood we're still both in one piece. Since the mods she goes like a cutsnake. The only gripe I have with the old girl is that she is too narrow and top heavy. That problem is getting sorted next week when $4,000 of suspension mods will see her 4" wider wearing Elka's. Then she will be the ulimate allrounder I've still got that custom tune here waiting for you, how are those mods coming along?
  19. All good info guys, appreciate it
  20. Thought I might stop spending money on my toys and do something that the whole family can enjoy so I it's time to get the Home Theatre set up. I know my wife would love one of those new fandangled electric irons that you dont have heat up on the fire but hey xmas isn't that far away is it. I'm sweet as far as the audio side of things go but it's time to ditch the old rear projection TV for a projector / screen. In short I'm looking for advice on what the minimum I have to spend to get a projector and screen that won't leave me thinking that I should have spent that little bit more to get the right set up. Any help from those of you that have been there and done that would be great. Cheers
  21. 10 = Pashen? When we've finished this game can we play eye spy......can we, huh, can we??
  22. If they installed the wrong wheel in error and are now claiming it back on the those grounds I think you'll find they have a legal right to it. Problem for them is how are they going to get it off you. Tell them you're a brain surgeon and that you are happy to bring it back to them as long as they reimburse you for your time which equates to $850 per hour. Seriously though I wouldn't be giving it another thought. Don't worry they (or another dealer) will even the score plus some at one point or another in the future.
  23. I recon F@ck would have to give Sh!t a good run for it's money!

Thanks for the tip Tried a bottle of their Cab. Sav. and I'd rate as good if not better than alot of $12-$15 bottles. Just relieved the local Liquorland of all their entire stock, some 28 bottles.
