  1. Could also put some on the outside of the engine sump if you were really keen. Have also seen magnetic sump plugs, some manual tran's I've changed the oil have had them (not sure if factory)
  2. rlquik's signature says "6spd built by Yarra Valley"
  3. Is there something done in the tune to prevent this happening, or kickdown switch disconnected? As I'm pretty sure in mine, if in manual at say 100kmh, if I put it all the way to the floor it'll still drop back to 3rd still.
  4. Mines cop spec, no beeping or panic for me
  5. Is the FG pump assembly under the back seat like in BA/ BF? Sounds like it might be leaking from around there somewhere if the smell is stronger inside the car.
  6. Got let off 69 in a 60 zone.
  7. Those rust proofing things don't work. Primer absorbs water.
  8. I'd take it straight back, call them first. And wouldn't be driving it until you have an idea what's wrong with it.
  9. This may already be somewhere else... http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/ford-xr6-turbo-surge-tank-engine-bay-chassis-rail-bosch-fuel-pump-bracket-race-/230839596158?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item35bf1cb47e#ht_1606wt_1037
  10. what colour is the car? BA/BF or FG?
  11. dual suspsension for commuting will give you a good workout.
  12. Any reason why you chose to go with those injectors over the ID's? Who tuned it, and how did they find them?
  13. The Xforce 4" dump to suit BA/BF is actually 3.5" at the flange to the cat anyway
  14. Tempted to not use the Nizpro ones that came with my stage 2 kit, don't see many people with great things to say about them, or drilled injectors in general.
  15. http://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/74739-zf-issues-or-so-I-thought/page__hl__%2Brebuild To sum it up, was slipping 3rd to 4th. Had 19's on front and 17's on rear. Put 19's back on the rear, problem appeared solved, but a month later the tranny needed clutch packs replaced.
  16. Also for territory according to ebays... http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/GENUINE-FORD-SX-SY-SZ-TERRITORY-SPARK-PLUG-SET-0-7mm-PRE-GAPPED-AGSP22YE07-/300621507371?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item45fe702b2b#ht_1923wt_1271
  17. Monsta Torque Engineering or Xtreme Ford Tuning?
  18. I'm just having a guess but it's probably one from the Chemtech range. Can get truck wash's etc at most car places, although cheaper to go to somewhere like Colrain that specialise in trucks, http://www.chemtech.net.au/cr_ec_ct22.html
  19. Had no issues at all removing and reinstalling my ICC.
  20. 70.5mm
  21. I looked online, can get them from the states with the 1/2" studs and 70.5mm hub. Think they use them on Mustangs. http://www.ebay.com.au/dsc/I.html?_nkw=1%2F2%22%2020mm%2070.5&rt=nc&LH_TitleDesc=1&LH_PrefLoc=2&_fln=1&_ipg=200&_sc=1&_sop=16&_trksid=p3286.c0.m283 Price and the postage on some of them is stupid though
  22. Plenty of people upgrade their exhausts so see if you can find a second hand one in good nick, try exhaust shops or a tuner. Should be able to get one cheap. Ford will no doubt charge heaps, and any aftermarket one will flow differently and need a tune.
  23. I used the power from the aux/bluetooth loom up near the fuse box
  24. How do you clean the car bra? Washing machine or leave it on and wash the car like you normally would?
  25. Not sure if it'll help or not, but get these instead of genuine Ford if you do decide to change it. NTK make them for Ford, these just don't have the Ford stamp, and are heaps cheaper. http://www.ngk.com.au/oxygen-sensors-part-finder?PageMode=Results&Make=FORD&Model=Falcon+BF++XR-6T&Capacity=4.0L&Year=10%2F05+-+02%2F08&Engine=&Engine=Barra+240T%2C+6FPAAAJG6+Cyl+DOHC+TMPFI+24V+240+ http://www.carpartsaustralia.com.au/product_info.php?products_id=11652 http://www.carpartsaustralia.com.au/product_info.php?products_id=11651
