Seaton did u ever go to wakefield with dot5.1 in your brembos or did you just go straight to the liquid intelligence on Paul's recommendation? I'm thinking of seeing how the dot 5.1 goes given the cost difference.
-
You'll want dot 5.1 to cope with the high heat generated by big stops at power cruise. With fresh fluid you should be fine for the day . I've used ap racing dot 5.1 on stock calipers with success, about $20 each from race brake sydney. Others are using this dot 6 http://liquidintelligence.com.au/products/racing-brake-fluid-dot-6 Drain as much from the master cylinder without letting it go dry then top up with your new fluid, flush through with a few good pumps starting furthest away from the master cylinder. Keep topping up as you go. That'll be sufficient, won't need any cleaners through it or anything.

Car makers security credentials are terrible, not even google, apple or Microsoft can secure their software and they're trying, car makers haven't even started trying yet! As mentioned ppl only care about gimmicks without a concern about security and likewise the car manufacturers aren't that keen on throwing tonnes of money into security and are so busy adding tech feature that they aren't building secure in from the ground up. Someone will die and it will probably take that or more to make governments of the public to stand up and sort this out.

I've had this before and I was losing fluid and it was just the reservoir cap that needed replacing.

Even though Holden's should be red that's actually the first time I've liked a red falcon, looks mint!

Silver the two piece floating rotor will transfer less heat into the hub and will run cooler both good things on a track! Also lighter being a two piece.

Seaton I got a quote off them when I bought my enkeis and they were well priced but Tirerack just pipped them with tyres back when the dollar was high, I decided it was easier quicker at the time. But autotechnik were close and no hassle with duty and customs like tirerack.

Clic-On/brodit No Holes Dash Mounts For Phone And Uhf
Bulletime replied to PCW's topic in Audio/Visual Workshop
Correct swindog, case will need to be off as they fit the devices dimensions snuggly, otherwise an adjustable mount would be needed, or take the case off. There's no way they would be able to predict the new size of phone plus case when every case is different, also doesn't make sense to -

Ms do you find it gets in the way of the passenger at all? Rednose they sound similar to the rammounts, different attachments for different devices, there are some adjustable ones but they don't hold the phone/tablet as tightly. Mines handled off tack excursions and bumps at wakefield so works pretty well. -
Jaba anything is better than the factory dunflops

The PSS wins by more in the dry then the as2 does in the wet but the as2s are cheaper I've seen. See here for some reviews, PSS consistently rates higher than the as2, also there are other good options too, like ptr_nitro said see what you can get them for as well when making you decision. http://www.tyrereviews.co.uk/Tyre/Michelin/Pilot-Super-Sport.htm Good luck!

PSS are awesome! Grip like a 200 tread wear but last like a 300. Comes stock on the ferrari 458, Audi r8s and other high end cars. Great tyre, actually really good in the wet but just pipped by the good years. I've found what pressure you run them at dictates the grip a lot too. But definitely grip up even more when the weather is warm, did pretty well at a track day [emoji1] Don't compare to r888 which is a semi slick and will be terrible in the wet and will not last that long. I've had two sets of PSS, and on the PS3s now just because I couldn't get the PSS at a good price but so far they have been good too. Any tyre can blow out, do as I've seen some ppl do which is run the good years up front for their wet grip and run the PSS on the rear for traction, best of both worlds then.

That's the same mount that the cops in the US use, pretty serious mount being bolted in. -

How sturdy are they? I use ram mount suctioned to the windscreen and they're very strong and sturdy. Can handle circuit work taking corners pretty hard and big bumps running off track. But be interested in these as well if they work well. -
Has Anyone Fitted Pedders Supercar Adjustable Coilovers?
Bulletime replied to MADF6's topic in Suspension and Handling
I don't have EDFC it was about $900 and saw people saying an extra $500-600+ for install. Considering I installed the teins myself all it set me back was the ~2300 for the teins and I wasn't confident installing the edfc myself. I don't need to remove the radiator overflow to adjust them, I did for install but you can get your fingers in there for adjusting. Like Ralph said you generally find a setting you're happy with and leave it at that, it only takes a minute or so to adjust. Not as Gucci as dynamic edfc but still works. The edfc though can adjust to speed which is pretty awesome. If you were thinking of paying 4k for the pedders then you can probably afford the full tein setup but yeah also as Ralph said they don't go as low. Btw I was given quotes of 4k just to install teins even without edfc, pretty easy to install, first time I'd ever installed suspension too. -

Tocchi what tracks and what sort of settings did you find worked well? I didn't go the edfc, would have pushed them beyond my budget. -
Ap racing your looking at like 5k for their 4/4 setup and 6500 for their 6/4, these are couple year old prices too! Replacement rotors are more expensive too altho they are 362mm so better stopping power. Fit under less wheels though! Then there's shockworks 4pot mono blocks (they're still working on the rears though). I think 1800-2000 for rotor caliper and pads, replacement rotors aren't cheap though at 900 or 1100-1200 for the two piece, but they supply the Korean v8supercar series so they should do the job. The above probably not useful for OP but for discussion on further brake options. I researched this a bit myself last year before going a brembo 6/1 setup with rear territory caliper, with track work in mind.

I did wonder that, seeing as you have your car pretty low. Expensive though. Still another option anyway. -

$2200 for teins fit them yourself -
good prices, I bought mine without rotors since I went dba t3s.

I paid 1800 new! There was a complete 6/4 setup of a written off GT recently for 3500 so 2600 no rotors is a rip!
