  1. Pics of nuts Im running 255/40/18s up front and 275/35 rears. When I emailed autotechnika they were a day or so I think.
  2. Mate don't bother, unless going brembos up front ull get hardly anything out of it. With good pads and tires and t3s up font your maxin out your stopping power with the front 2 pots anyway just about.
  3. Lol thanks, I was close 40 I'll take a pic of the nuts (wheels nuts that is ), as they're currently off the car, can't remember the type or size off the top of my head.
  4. I have 18x8.5+30 fronts and 18x9.5+35 rears and the centre bore is 70.5, falcon is 73.1 from memory. tirerack were on drugs tellin me it was 75mm. I ordered mine from tirerack and then got jax to get me the hub rings, they had a code for them in their system, also got them to get me some new wheel nuts as stock nuts won't fit, maybe autoteknika? will supply?
  5. Up to 15 that's crazy!! Is that on Facebook? Maybe Canberra ppl prefer Facebook to forums, actually wouldn't surprise me if they didn't know what a forums is lol. Wonder if any of those are ESP tuned? Be good to know.
  6. I've got enkei pf01s in silver on mine and absolutely love them! Don't see many falcons wearing enkeis, mainly jap imports or look alikes. Definitely will need hub centric rings too btw. And yeah nelsonian used to run the rpf01s with his 4 pot brembos.
  7. Fulcrum don't seem to sell those now, looks like the super streets they sell are the same spring rates as the performance spec. Might be what I go with in a few months time. Going on your progress they must be going pretty good for you.

  11. id take off from work earlier for it, but if scrutineering starts at 5 and we get there at 6 is that too late? What's involved with that anyway, they don't do anything for Wakefield at the circuit and I'd think your car needs to be in better shape for the circuit then the strip lol. 23rds not really good for me but yeah soon would be good hey.

  14. Nice work you'll enjoy Wakefield. A shame u couldn't make it with us but there's plenty of chance next year. Suspension will help you a lot, soo much body roll stock lol. Also I hope you've done some brake work, at least dot 5.1 is highly recommended. That said angel had stock fluid and was ok altho he had after market rotors and pads. Completely stock brakes wouldn't be any fun, don't want your foot going to the floor at 160-170. Let us know how you go! It's good Wakefield is so close, we just need drags close by but that'll never happen.
  15. Well put it all together, nothing else was loose, managed a go on the rest of the bolts too. Did the boost solenoid as well and after a test drive everything seemed really good so I'll just watch and see if the engine light comes back. Mate I'm glad the fgs aren't meant to do this too often, would be a PITA doing it every 10,000kms lol
  16. And a chit tonne of swearing is what I've heard. From someone who did it with their very mechanically minded dad it would have been worth paying extra. Plus instructions are incomplete.
  17. Got a few turns out of the last two manifold bolts at the back on the engine bay, top and bottom. Hopefully it was enough for it to be the cause. The rest of the bolts were already pretty tight. Struggled to even get to the rest of the bolts behind the turbo though, very awkward positions. Haven't been able to get too many spanners or sockets on the rest, but they don't seem to move or anything. Still apart so ill have one last look in the morning before putting everything together again. Prob do boost solenoid while I'm there.
  18. Tell her to dump the bodies first, can either be them rolling around thudding in the boot or if they are freshly killed there could be some nervous twitching still.

  20. When my quota resets ill check video two lol but the front windscreen footage from mine is the best I got, keen next time to get the rear shot and some of the alternative angles. Dedication for the long uploads!!

  22. Thanks guys, paulie u think they've loosened or broken? U reckon take the cover and tighten them up a bit/ have a look? Ralph u reckon ill find anything following the dump down to the cat and inspecting around there? Is it possible the leak won't be visible?
  23. Near the end of a track day on the weekend the MIL lit up constantly on the dash. The book says the car is no longer meeting emissions standards and needs ford to check it out. The light stayed on, if it flashes it means something is wrong with the cat (according to the book) Plugged in my obd Bluetooth tool today and had a p1228 code that a quick search of the forums talk about actuator problems, exhaust or Turbo. It's an 09 Fg xr6t which the only engine mod being xr8 airbox and k&n filter. On boost now the car is making more whooshing and some other slight whirring noises as well during spool. Over the 2.5 yrs I've owned the car I've noticed the exhaust get significantly louder so if the cats gone that could make sense? Car has extended warranty so would ideally like the work done under that otherwise id baby it for a few months before my mods start if its gonna cost a sheet load. Ideas from the knowledgable? Can't see any cracks on the piping or anything so don't think I've blown a house? Also just after a drive now the MIL on the dash has now gone away, but the p1228 is still uncleared. Car still feels powerful so hopefully turbo hasn't blown? Altho I'm now not giving it much especially since if the cat has gone I could overboost and detonate yeah? Also could explain the actuator code? Thanks in anticipation!
