  1. He ended up going with a custom solution by east coast suspension sydney. They drilled a whole in the one of the arms and before a track day he can switch to the new position and he gets 3 degrees negative camber. Nelsonian can explain it better but he's been using that solution for a couple of yrs now, had said the kmac kit was too heavy.
  2. Love the photos Paul, that bonnet is looking wicked! Saw you in the video a couple times too. Pretty awesome looking event.
  3. No worries. You might wanna give him a buzz sooner rather then later, I think he's only got about 4 left in stock, he's been running a big special. At least give him a call and go from there.
  4. Yeah Matt will sort you out. They'll match nicely and are a nice upgrade. Probably looking at some rda xdrilled or something. But yeah just talk to Matt. Good value for money, ull be happy.
  5. Nice, I'm about to install a 6/1 setup myself with the larger territory rear caliper on 328mm rotors. This is a pretty good setup and given the fronts do most of your braking you might as well save your money on the 4 pots, and these give you a decent upgrade over stock. The GT comes standard with the large rear caliper and 4 pot brembo up front. Hit up race brakes Sydney, they'll sort you out with the rears!
  6. Had this happen to me recently, got the fluid flushed and it's been fine, power steering fluid isn't in any service schedule. edit: for info my car is 4.5 yrs old and has seen a bit of opposite lock, the guys at the power steering place said the fluid was black, I had only asked fraud a month earlier to check it and they said it was fine....
  7. Yeah it's normal we all have it, feels and sounds chit but ppl have tried and failed to fix it. I've got super pro bushes in the diff, zf and diff serviced, different suspension. Don't know the solution so just love with it. And enjoy the fg, congrats on buying essentially a new car!! When I bought mine it was a yr old with only 15,000ks on it and still had new car smell, gotta love near new!
  8. We talking cars or marriage? If marriage are you guys counting time together before marriage? If cars what problems at 7 years?
  9. That's wicked!! Where r u getting those? Have u reinforced the boot? There was a guy a few years ago looking at the V8SC rear wings that got told it would snap off over 100kmh without being reinforced. Much $$?
  10. Yeah fair enough, none of us want to bin our dailys that's for sure. Wakefields not so bad for walls. I have accidentally left the traction control on and not noticed too much so can understand using it in your case, 300kw ain't bad, I've still got the stock ~225 kw. What r u going to do for rear downforce?
  11. You leave traction control on? Does it do much with 400+kw and the z214s?

Nulon 10-40w full synth here, pretty popular around here too, I drop mine every 7500kms
  13. Jono mine does the up and down thing too when it's stone cold. Usually only does it a couple of times within the first couple of minutes driving, worse in the Canberra cold. Been doing it for years.
  14. I'll agree to this too, they do grip up a lot more when the weather warms up!
  15. I've found them happiest at 38, I love these tyres. I'm about to get my third set. Done a few tack days on them too.
  16. Hitting Wakefield again?
  17. When taking the rears rotors off do u have to do anything with the handbrake (obviously don't have it on in the car), just dont know if it impedes anything? Done the fronts just not rears (will be soon though)

400s ok for zf service, I paid 640 with metal pan and genuine fluid. For the earls either take the route some ppl do which is just remove the filter for free or your up for a few hundred $$ for an earls. I just removed mine and happy to know it won't block. If u go the earls make sure u actually clean/replace the filter periodically cuz a lot of ppl don't even though that's the main reason for it. Generic tunas not cool lol. Also speaking of zf does it have the stock heat exchanger still?? Cuz that's something to get rid of, pwr exchanger here, if u don't know how regularly the previous owner did the coolant then that would be high on my list too!

    Break Failure!

good idea! I feel for the OP braking down with break problems.

    Break Failure!

Alright that's enough brake it up
  23. Tirerack.com while the Aussie dollar is still good if buying top end tyres. Shipping costs aren't cheap but can be worth it depending what your getting.
  24. lol I like that "life got in the way", haha it's gotten in the way for me too, suspensions been a long time coming! Next brakes and a tune. Going to enjoy having a proper handling car though! Be good to hear your comparison between the tein and the shockworks since no one has yet really been able to do compare. My guess is shockworks probably are a better setup purely for the street but tein will have an advantage on the track. The shockworks will probably give a slightly move comfortable ride, not that I've got any complaints on full soft though.
