  1. Remember they will get dirty as fck with brake dust so factor that in as well. My vote is green like the lambo or something that has the writing in green. Dont worry they wont look standard with the big ass caliper humping massive rotors!
  2. Mate awesome result, gotta be happy with the car now!! You'll be knocking on 1:10 once you tame that power a bit bet it feels strong to drive, so jealous!! She sits nice and low too, lower than my teins on their stock setting.
  3. Nup just put the boot in a few times, admittedly with a rather heavy friend. Had the usual diff clunks and thuds but was thudding a bit more and more when the ZF would down shift. A bit wtf given its stock power and no drag strip work. Maybe having really grippy wide tyres didn't help. Also don't think fraud did a good job puttin the super pros in, they had said it was hard to put in and they'd never done one before, but this was well over 12 months ago
  4. Comforts I think. Will try get pics tomorrow while it's getting fixed, in the mean time here's a pic of a broken diff bolt I found on the googles
  5. Broke the centre diff bolt. Superpro bushes and stock power... D'oh
  6. Lol wtf! That's the wrong way around. Crazy ppl

    F6 4 Pot To 6

Enkeis fit in 18s, tonnes of clearance.
  8. Surely you wouldn't risk jail by getting the car towed and faking a crash on the road, that's fraud.
  9. Hopefully he got a track day voucher off his wife, then it's her fault
  10. Pretty brutal! Must have been bad to write off 250k, altho without insurance it probably doesn't matter anyway.
  11. Totaled M5, ouch, that's gotta hurt the bank balance. What a shame. Was the driver ok? Did he roll it or hit a wall?
  12. Unlucky! Better at the track then on the street where you have a lot more hazards. It's a good thing to learn how to handle a car at and beyond the limits within the safety of a track, makes you a better and safer driver. Tell that to your wife Wilko: often happens once the tyres are cooked and the pressures are too high, you get massive understeer then.
  13. Harry's lap timer for lap timing and data, link that to your obd2 output, go pro for videos and combine it with racerender http://racerender.com/
  14. Matt they will fit because you get the same size rotors as you already have. Only change rotor sizes if changing calipers.
  15. Yeah just highlighting that u gotta tune for purpose, would have to keep an e85 tune pretty tame so it's drivable.
  16. Can't spend what I don't have lol!
  17. Coilovers and brembos. Watch out its addictive and expensive lol, glad you enjoyed it!

8 and 10 sounds pretty stiff lol, lot stiffer than I've got at the moment, what did you end up with on the track? The other massive benefit to coilovers is the independent adjustability of height and dampening. On the circuit we don't need all four corners completely set up the same, adding or removing height or dampening can help maintain grip on any given corner, say if it was being unloaded due to the characteristics of the circuit, eg all right handers, the load on all corners isn't the same so you can dial in more grip on the unloaded corners of the car. Either way shockworks or teins are both high quality coilovers that are a great improvement on handling for daily and occasional track duties.
  19. Jesus 30 minutes on track and somewhere like sandown, you don't like your car much do u lol! Everyone I know only runs for about 15-20 minutes per session. With my stock fg it will limp at about 18 minutes in winter, I'm happy doing about 15 mins anyway. I'm assuming u have good brake fluid too, you should change it every track day if your hitting 200. E85 is good for the strip but putting the power down on a circuit is another thing. Someone on here with 275 wide slicks on the rears will only run his e70 tune because he just bursts into wheel spin with straight e85. Definitely can be worth getting your tune setup for mid range and low boost, knowing the circuit you go to could play into how you tune for it as well, how much of a top end do u really need etc.
  20. DBA t3s up front have lasted me 2 yrs and about 4 or 5 track days with just one machining. Ebc reds are no good for track, I destroyed them on a track where the top speed is 170, so if your doing 200 at sandown stay away the redstuffs. Go ebc blues, qfm a1rm (bit harder on rotors and a less bite but still really good), ferrodo Ds performance or 2500s to name a few. Doing brakes is easy just take it time, read up and watch some YouTube videos, Eric the car guy is pretty funny but pretty good videos. Actually doing rotors and pads this weekend on a mates car, then my car the following weekend.

Haha all good mate. How many adjustments do the shockworks have? The teins have 16, I've got them on 3 front 2 rear at the moment just for the street and they are still comfy cruising but could do with a bit more dampening to get rid of a little more bounce mid corner. On the track I was going to start at 8 front and back and go either way depending how it responds. As I've told you before it will be really interesting to hear your thoughts on the shockworks since you've also had teins before, interested to see how you compare comfort and handling.
  22. Teins here and it's night and day, so much confidence, none of the body roll where it felt like it was going to fall off the road at the thought of a corner. No longer feel disconnected from the road, car sits flat through the corners and you get proper feedback on the level of grip you have underneath. Best mod ever.

I just got teins and I'm in love, roads are good around here though. Prob shock works if your local roads aren't so good, teins more aimed for track.
  24. No worries, any reason u can't get lines with the calipers? I'm guess your after braided lines as the calipers should come with rubber hoses.
  25. Mate don't know about the AP racing calipers but this is for an fg brembo 6 piston caliper if that helps. Fully stretched it was 470mm end to end. Maybe call a performance brake shop, try race brakes Sydney. Good luck
