I'd like to know this too. Wikipedia lists sales for BA Falcon to be 196,000. Assuming sales were the same for BF, that would be around 170k, 60% of which are BFII. The hard part is the percentage of which are turbo. Carsales.com has only 4% turbo of its BFIIs, while 17% of BAs are turbo. Who knows how accurate carsales' representation of the model spread is. Assuming 5% of the BFIIs were Ts, that would make 5200 BFII XR6Ts. Now, on carsales there are ~1500 XRs that could possibly be Toxic. Of those there are actually 9, or 0.58%. A rare colour. I conclude there are around 30 Toxic green BF mkII XR6 Turbos in existence.

Why does everyone love the idea of these driver 'courses'? In a perfect world everyone would be trained so we can deal with whatever dangerous obscure situation we might find ourselves in, but in reality it's a waste of time and money. Not enough people are going to benefit. I have ZERO sympathy for people such as P platers who kill themselves within a week of getting the fastest car they can buy. It shouldn't require a course to know that you need to drive conservatively if you are inexperienced. The only realistic action that I think should be taken is to come down harder on the stupid non-hoon behaviour (slow in right lane etc), retest only old people to ensure they aren't a hazard, and eliminate bullsh*t like what Rusty XR6T wrote about.

Is it necessary to remove the clip or will I damage the hose by pulling it with it still on? I couldn't figure out how to take the clip off nor could I really get my pliers around the clip so I gave up.. :(

You're absolutely right, people going to die in accidents traveling at the speed limit, under the limit and 5km/h over it. The sad thing is all the money the government are perpetually wasting on this nonsense...

Man this is funny. He can't be serious. This reminds me of a car I test drove that was an XT with a XR6T engine. Was in real poor condition, had a custom engine paint job worth $5k apparently which looked retarded - was just like 4 different basic colours. And he was selling it because he owed his Mum too much money on it still... Wtf?

If I take off from a stop and floor it up to the speed limit, is that hooning? Or illegal? Is there some acceleration limit that can be measured? EG Do not exceed more than 5ms^-2? And then if you were to do this with another car doing the same in the next lane, how can they prove you were racing? Can you just say "I didn't know he was even there, and I was just accelerating how I normally do"? I could race a Camry and kill it and it wouldn't look like we were actually racing, but nevertheless it was a 'street race'... Is it only bad if the race is close? Also, yes, speed kills, and the slower we drive the safer it is. BUT, I think the government and police need to accept that unless everyone drives at 10kmh, humans traveling around the planet at 20 meters per second are going to be killed. It's unavoidable. Of course, dangerous driving (not defined as exceeding the limit by 5kmph) is something that results in deaths the are almost always avoidable, and this should be penalised harshly. Finally, I don't think 'driver education' is going to do anything at all. People have got the message, they know what is dangerous, and if they haven't got the message by now they never will!!
