  1. Hi Andrew glad you are happy. It is the way we work ..a pm an email then we go above and beyond to sort things out. Thanks for pming me. The current version has been refined over past few months and is our second and final version of the holder...made to fit even better. It improves the holder to the nth degree. Thanks again Stav Stingray Car Security 0414445444
  2. It is common sense to watch where you are going at 18psi instead of a gauge even the speedo is a dangerous distraction. Sounds more like the car lost control instead of going straight in any case. At that boost I can guarantee you my mind is on the steering and keeping an eye on the road cars behaviour..if it steps out Id be focused on the controlling the car not looking at anything else. When you feel your car stepping out of control do you look at your gauge or try to save your car? Id say something went wrong with the car loss of traction poor tyres suspension and then a loss of control. Even if he looked at his gauge why wasnt the driver mindful of the car he was booting 18psi into? In that instance its an error on the driver because yes I have also loss traction om rare occasions while looking at the radio for example and still manage to control the car peoples lives are at risk. True?

  5. No they don't. The mechanical boost gauge has brass plumbing that extends further than the limited cup space. You cant put the back caps on and you will definitely not get boost host not jammed in there and kinked. Without a grinder it wont go. Electrical boost will though. If you have done it that must be a tight fit. For people that try to do a straight fit it means they must go for another trip looking for angled plumbing which doesnt come in the mail
  6. No they dont. You can't fit a mechanical autometer boost gauge to them without a grinder to cut a big hole in the pod then hack the top of the holder
  7. Its bad karma maybe for you doing something wrong
  8. Sounds like yours may have been faulty Serangan
  9. Thanks for posting this Benny. Mine started doing the same thing and a Google search led me to this thanks heaps. Cold only feels like a grinding from the rear resonating through the car on left only . Once warmed up its fine. Will get them replaced asap. Mines at 131000kms
  10. Nice to see people are finally using boost a spark andnboost a pump devices. Someone told me recently the pumps will die very fast but kenne bell have been using this technology for decades. Nice to see
  11. Was good to see you all tonight
  12. It can be done .
  13. Happy Birthday useless!

  14. The ebay guy doesnt say that on his ad about b series six speed but I am not surprised
  15. Only the fg 6 speed auto cannot be tuned. It makes no note of bseries 6 speed auto so I think it would do that too. All other transmissions seem to also be covered
  16. How can I change my username? Id like to change it to stav. Bpt book looks good. A google search will dig up some great books in tuning a car also some good points on how to tune is on the net. The secret is be very careful
  17. I have the innovate lm1 kit from my last car. It monitors air fuel via wideband with tps and rpm with several other inputs to 5 volts to monitor other copmonents. Before I tuned my last car I bought books on tuning frequented forums on tuning and then and only then attempted to tune. I dont want to go into to detail how I tuned but I can say that it takes alot of care in the beggining especially in a high compression or turbo car. Tune idle to 14.7 then be conservative in boost then gently check your data and adjust. Personally I will strip timing out and run it to a richer setting and work from there. I am not familiar with the vcm software but for the home tuner seems sufficient to alter the basics which I need to do the job. I have also thought about installing a haltech as I had on my last car because at the end of the day it does the job and I find it easy to tune.Unfortunately haltech dont provide support for the fg so the vcm it will be.The only thing I will need for the lm1 in the fg is a tach adapter to run it. In saying that the vcm allows a wideband to be connected eliminating its need.. So the vcm can map rpm tps and wideband air fuel sensor readout to provide accurate reliable info. It makes the haltech and lm1 not not needed to tune as it is a complete package but see how we go in the future with adding the wideband into the computer
  18. It is the same product but you wont get the software to do the box and to be honest I dont want it. When the time comes I want boost fuel ignition and changing some sensor thresholds to allow the car to raise boost without a hissy fit.Stav
  19. It does not support fg automatic transmission
  20. The fg gauge holders on top would annoy me to no end in a long trip even though they look pretty. They do sit too high in my opinion in line of sight and at 297 dollars with the extra hour of work before you even run wires Id never have them. Then having to run wires down the back of icc and buckleys of getting a vacuum hose up there which doesnt kink limits your choices. This is why I invented the gauge and accessory holder replacing the tissue box and allows plenty of room for hoses wiring and customisable to fit different size gauges and or started button cb radio etc . It takes 20 to 30 seconds to install and unlike some tissue box modded ones I have seen you are not limited by dimensions of tissue box holder allowing quicker wiring and easier fitment of gauges. At 195 it will save you money and time making it the smart mans choice @ boganspeed vision isnt an issue because your photo is taken from a higher point than the drivers height actually seems from mirror height from farther back. Your photo is misleading.Looks like you are standing up taking the photo from the door. Sit in the drivers seat and take a photo from line of sight and then show the true interference. They will be directly in line of sight
  21. Ive got a gauge holder which is customisable on the market for 1 2 and 3 gauges if different sizes. Ive patented it so its protected. Much more easier to install gauges in its design over tissue boxes too
  22. If he has 200 rwkws then a run down the 1/4 mile should reveal alot with mph and times.
  23. Personally I feel its important op to just ask how your tuner expects the car to behave after he tunes it . Perhaps its a good idea to discuss it with the tuner civilly and just ask if what you ask for was or was not possibile and why. Perhaps ask if he can tune in a bit more responsiveness for the areas you would like if possible.. The other fellow who posted was mightily upset and rightfully so . When you leave your car in peoples hands who are proffessionals then youd think they had the expertise to sort the car out properly. While I can sympathise its not called for to use abusive language.
