Yeah it might be the books all check out I had it in for its 105000km ser4vice yday and got told its in A1 condition nothing else has been changed maybe ford ran out of standard intakes on the day mine was built and got generous haha

ive only had my ba xr6t for a few weeks and just bought a hyperflow intake and is I was going to put it in I looked and saw what I thought was the typhoon lower intake anyone know if this is or its just stock on the ba xr6t or the typhoon one

Just a quick one to see if anyone knows if cutting the airbox for a new CAI affects insurance or roadworthy of the car as I want to put the Hyperflow one on my car Cheers

Im not after massive gains would be happy with a little power increase and a better sound coming from it

Firstly I just wanted to day Gday to all I just bought my 2004 xr6t last week and couldnt be happier. Ive been reading around and it seems that getting a better cold air intake will give me that little bit of power ive seen some selling on ebay and around and have heard that just a xr8 or typhoon one would help I was just wondering if anyone knew of where to get one from. And was curious to whether they still use the flat filter or have to use a pod filter if they dont use the pod does anyone run a pod intake and do they have there advantages.
