why are you guys using 10-40 instead of 0-40??? is it a superior product?

Hey guys, I was told to use fully synthetic oil in the turbs by my machanic so I was getting prices on castrol edge 0w-40 and they were around the $70 mark for 5L. I rang Ford to see how much their oil was and was told $31.50 for 5L????? When I questioned the price difference I was told they dont use a fully synthetic oil as you dont need too. The service guy said either oil is fine as long as you stick with either synthetic or mineral and dont chop and change. What do you guys reckon

Hey guys clicked over the 15000km mark on the fg yesterday and was just wondering what the first service is goin to cost? should I use my ford dealer or my usuall mechanic who is a mate and one of the best around?

I have a fg manual and have already had the diff bush replaced as it split, only 9000ks on the clock. I wouldnt change to an auto even if I was paid, its too much fun and I personally think they will hold value better in the long run

Im still looking for a fg xr6t with less then 10000k's in manual, I have only had luck finding one in nitro and one in viper but I dont want either of those colours. I want to get one from a dealer that can put on 19" darkies and tint and still drive away at or under $40k, this has been a mission.
