I like lots of styles of music ,punk rock,stadium rock,instrumental stuff,(just not that talentless jason durulo and chris brown sh*te,pathetic lol) Love my metal/hardcorish stuff. Parkway Drive,Killswitch Engage,Confession,August Burns Red,Slipknot,plenty more but I'm always hooked on those. Parkway usually play local to me every year.Pretty awesome how it's only ever like $20 to see them each time.Soundwave seems to be better then it used to be.

I had gunmetal Rota Gforce's on my MY02 Sti and pretty keen on Rota's for my grey BA XR6T. Probably Gforce,Torque or something like Grids. Also thinking about just going with 17's. Anyone reckon Rota's in 17's would still look ok on an XR?

Yeah I was planning on cutting it out but cut up a spare grill incase I mess it up.lol.

Just curious has anyone cut out the upper grill and replaced it with black mesh? I've done a bit of searching and didn't find much. I was keen on just having mesh with no badge. Or if anyone has done anything else. Cheers if anyone can help.

From seeing my front bar with the black bit parked from a distance it looked pretty good. Thinking about painting the inside now.

I used gloss black and cleared it. Came up pretty good and smooth. With cans aswell. A matt might look better. I found if doing something small with cans like I did, wet coats usually come out better. From experience from stuffing up then fixing things on my previous cars lol.

Even though I own a ford I know you've just got to pretty much look at a falcon and it devalue's lol.As I mentioned I have the chance to swap my bar for a typhoon bar but would rather spend the money on performace mods.So I did a bit of painting. Panda Eyes that does look pretty cool front on. Gasman I reckon those ideas could work if there's someone that could do a good job.

That Bf bar looks good. Ba's don't look that bad. I coud'nt be stuffed spraying the inside. It's just the angle of the sides of the gap in the bar that are oppisite so I don't think it would look as good spraying around the whole thing. That's why I just went with the middle section.

Yeah I could've checked that out,but it's too late lol.Cheers though. I ended up painting the middle part gloss black and cleared today.I don't mind it.Pretty good job for cans.A little thick but should be ok.Phone pics don't do it justice. I'm still keen to see what people have done though

Hello there, I've been thinking about painting the middle lower section and to the front of my ba's front bar black. The car is grey. I have the chance to swap a typhoon bar for my stock one but would rather spend the cash on better mods then respraying/repairing that. Just wondering what have people done to there stock front bars? That's If anyone has. Cheers.

Saw a nice blue BA at Lakehaven then in Toukley this arvo. Had an aftermarket intercooler and typhoon rims I think.

I've been trying to get pics or vids from TCP but yet to get any of the xr TBE. He's advertising them on Rexnet for Xr's. Hopefully his Youtube channel will have a vid up soon.The Tcp had no drone,great note while still quiet on one of my rex's.

Not on an XR6T but on one of my wrx's I had a TCP.Was a great quality and sound. Was pretty perfect.Not over the top. Have'nt heard them on an xr yet but I'm looking into them.

Getting rid of my 02 Sti on monday and picking up a grey 04 BA XR6T MKII auto with 102XXX k's.I loved the Sti but it's not going to be the best for longer trips and room with a bub on the way. Getting over driving it everyday.Also kind of over it revving at like 3200rpm at 110 on the freeway lol. Pretty keen to start tweaking the XR,few basics anyways.

Lol. Oh yeah I don't mind the lib gt wagons. But I think after owning two rexs I want to change to another engine type.

I've thought about a wagon,but the only wagons I would be keen on were imports.A Nissan Stagea or VR4 Legnum wagon. But I don't really want to stuff around with imports. If I was going onto an XR6T I was thinking of checking out some ford dealers and others decent yards. Would be good if they would straight swap me a late nice BA or a BF.I doubt it though lol. Try and rip me off probably anyways.

Hello there, pretty much first time poster. Been hovering around a while. Just wondering what car have people come from before your XR6t? And why? Soon to have a baby in a few months and I've been thinking about looking into XR6t's. For the extra space and for whenever we travel. I own an 02 Sti at the moment. Love it but not sure what to do. Sits on 3000rpm at 110klm on the freeway where as an xr would prob be alot lower. Anyways cheers. I know there's a thread about what you had but this is kinda different I guess
