  1. Your right Jules, They use a hub dyno and you do get a higher result. My auto measured 209 rwkw before mods started - the starting place shouldnt matter too much - its more the gains over that starting figure which should drive your decisions. that's where it is important to have the gains measured on the same dyno - ie before and after
  2. Thanks Jeff, that's some good stooge work!! he he Lucky the performance of the car backs it up. If you are interested in my experiences - pm me and we can have a chat about the path I have taken and the results/costs achieved.
  3. Intune Castle Hill - Mixed Reports , though most seem happy C&V Caringbah - Custom tunes are fine from most reports MRT Performance - PM "Link" he is their stooge and his car pulls pretty hard All good tuning options - though I do hear the odd negative result from C&V like the one recently posted. MRT are doing lots of work with the flash tuner - I am happy with my results - they are worth considering
  4. I seem to remember seeing a Black GT in my rear vision mirror from the lights!
  5. I have one - and I love it - If you get the full kit with the additional centre pieces and the rear guard molds it looks hot! Well worth the investment in IMHO
  6. Backbreaker, Without playing the stooge - I have had a very positive experience with MRT s tuning capabilities - I know the guys were down in Melbourne for the new software update training sessions and have come away with even more ideas on how to work with the flash unit. The good thing about MRT is that they have been using flash software for quite a good deal of time - as they have been doing EKUTEK flashes for scoobies and evo's for ages. Jewels - thanks for the plug mate! Yeah - the car pulls real hard and as an auto - definitely has some real power to play with - with plenty of fat built into the AFRs so that the motor wont blow or bend a rod easily. 12.00 @ 120 mph is nothing to sneeze at and the potential for some serious 11 sec passes is all there - as soon as I stop running the strip on my 20 inch street tyres. There is a pretty cool article in this months street fords issue on the flash unit and MRT which seem to back up my opinion! They are almost complete with a range of 'off the shelf' upgrade kits which will deliver guaranteed rear wheel increases for fixed prices. They are definitely worth a look if you want a tuner in sydney. that's my 2c - off my soapbox Love your work too Saleen Dion! 10.2 is pretty quick on standard valve springs!
  7. Cant wait to get me some of this action! Craig - let me know how it goes with the Kewish box!
  8. I have the Turbosmart supersonic in anodised black. Makes a great sound - is kinda loud though!
  9. Tuner, Are MRT in Sydney going to have access to the software updates in the same time period as HPF???
  10. Adam, Didnt get the MT's on because I went for a 9" rim and the inside of the rim was rubbing on a bolt coming off one of the supension trailing arms We are looking at options to fix the problem - ie. grind the bugger off or turn it around. The rims fit over the standard brakes alright, but I will probably chuck a 10ml spacer in there as well. When I get my new Brembos on hopefully everything will still fit
  11. Mmmmmmmmmmmm NICE!
  12. It would be good for a laugh! Although with only one functional hand - she may have trouble sending texts to Dave! ha ha ha
  13. that's the one....she really like the pole on the stage in the corner as well!
  14. JP300+ I ran a 12.00 @ 120mph on street tyres in Vic on the weekend. My car was running 365 rwkw on a hub dyno (usually reads about 10-15% higher than a roller dyno). I have the same auto box as Geea with a 2800rpm stall in it. I couldnt leave the line at greater than 2400rpm as my 20" wheel/tyre combo just spun. I have a set of MT streets ready to go so am expecting a mid-11 based on the mph. The auto box is a worthwhile investment - very tough, quick changes. Hope to see you at WSID sometime for a run.
  15. She was one scary lookin biatch......
  16. Dont forget Arthurs toilet left-overs as well!
  17. Hey guys, MRT Stooge checking in - I finally feel half awake from the weekend. Awesome stuff guys - my first cruise with everyone - couldnt meet a nicer bunch of people anywhere. Craig - thanks for everything - the bbq, the advice and helping me get those Mickey T's which will get a run eventually! Even though we only got and 1 1/2 racing it was MAD fun. Im pretty happy with my runs - definitely a PB! 12.00 @ 120.5 mph on 20" nankang street tryes - shows the car has alot of promise when I can get some sticky rubber under her! Thanks to everyone for making me feel welcome - I will be seeing alot more of you guys I hope. Esp. the Sydney guys - Mick, Arthur, Jewels, Ivan, Junior, Jeff, Rob and Brian. Phil
  18. Definitely not - you can come up with any combo you like
  19. MRT just finished tuning my stage 3 setup - on roman autoteks hub dyno - 365rwkw and 2000 odd foot pounds of torque. My car is the one the HFT site. I was fortunate they used it for development of the kit. Looking forward to racing in melbourne on sunday!
  20. Awesome work mate. Can t wait to see the car in the flesh on the weekend when the Sydney boys come to heathcote!
  21. oops - doubled up
  22. Mattson, I have the full MRT kit that Hyperflow have designed - I was fortunate enough to have one of the development cars. I am not sure on the pricing yet, as my car is still getting more work done so I havent paid yet! Mine is on the dyno today for tuning and will probably go to the Holden/Ford show to be on display for MRT on the weekend. Fingers crossed for a big result! They have had some promising results with a few cars less modded than mine, so we will see. I know the I/C kit on its own was worth around $1400 fitted I think. The new pipework looks very trick when your up close and personal!
  23. I saw the Willwood BA upgrade kits in the latest Street Machine. They were through SER (Perth) and G Racing (Vic) and it was $3150 for the front with 6 pots. It wasnt clear on the rears - but looked like $1500 for the BA - for 4 pots I think
  24. Has anyone got any more info on these - I am definitely interested!

    Rim Sizes?

Thanks Mr man. The HP rims represent good value for money I think - and arent too 'over the top' with chrome! I am happy with them so far!
