About kizzaF6

  1. When we pulled down my motor you could see alot of wear on the gears. I have now got an atomic pump but had my engine not sh*t itself due to timing chain letting go it would have been a matter of time before the pump died. My vote is do it for sure.
  2. Mate the log book really aint worth the paper its written on. I also do all my own servicing as we have a full set up workshop at my parents and this way I know that its done and done properly. I have heard many stories of people taking their cars into ford or wherever and they havent done a proper service at all. I got my F6 with a service history and 33,000kms it now has 80,000kms and the book hasn't been filled in since 30,000kms! I wouldnt let a log book deter me from buying one. At the end of the day I have mates who could fill in whatever details I wanted into the log book and im sure plenty of others could do the same.
  3. Not 100% sure about e85 but with other fuels I use (methanol, petrol) you can get an additive to prolong shelf life after its been opened. Im sure someone will be making an additive for e85.
  4. Have you changed the plugs? mine was doing simular, but since changing plugs it hasnt happened.
  5. I have the same ute, bilsteins all round with pedders rear leafs 100 times better then stock rubbish.
  6. If you do a cashie and it goes bad (e,g burn someones house down) they WILL come after you. Dont know about in QLd but here in Vic course is generally 40 hours (10 weeks x 4 hours a week night school) and cost around $700.

    Gt Black

Sort of off topic but have any of you seen the focus rs500 in all black? Looks great and is even more exclusive then the GT maybe this is what ford was hoping to achieve. (yes I know they are a chicks car)

I'll be driving up, we have been going up for a couple of years now. 3-4 cars each time. Usually leave home (melton 30mins west cbd) at around 6am and just cruise up and get there around 3pm or there abouts on the Thursday. Crazy atmoshere and the night life in town goes off.
  9. I'll be there again, highly recommend it to anyone who hasnt been. One of my favorite weekends of the year. Wont be entering but will be cruising up in my ute.
  10. No they aren't mate. (might be stating the obvious here but) Shocks dont determine ride height, springs determine ride height
  11. I went with pedders rear springs and kings in the front with bilsteins all round, completely different car. got it all except the rear springs from Pat at wholesale suspension, absolute top bloke and great prices.
  12. Yeah add me to the list, great work mate. will sell like the proverbial hot cakes for sure.
  13. Ill be getting a CES system when the time comes, plenty of people recommend them and have heard nothing but good reports. cheers
  14. I have a BFII Tornado and love it mate way better than a xr6 in my opinion just for the simple fact you dont see them around as much, Also the resale value will be alot higher in the long run so the extra cash you initially fork out will in theory eventually come back to you.
