I have a late 09 ute and no problems whatsoever - the idler pulley I got replaced under warranty cos it was a little noisy but since then it runs fine! I too have heard of the handbrake cable issue.

I was racing at Calder on Saturday night, seen quite a few other XR6s/F6s there - I was in the Ego FG ute with dark argents. Very VERY happy with my time - ran a 12.90 - 1.9 second 60 ft. - completely standard no mods on 19" everyday road tyres. The ZF auto gearbox was a pain in the ass in my opinion. Very difficult to launch without it going into limp mode and the delay from shifting up a gear before hitting limiter was a pain in the ass (1st to 2nd gear most of the time)! All in all was a good day I did say Hi to a few people (dont know if your on these forums or not)maybe should organise a drag day with a few more XR6T/F6 people!!

that sh*t looks hidieous - all those sort of rims belong on hyundai excels or VS commodores!

get some decent rims with decent offset. I honestly havent seen many FGs yet with nice offset. Its something on my list. What I cant understand is how many people go and fork out the big $$$ on some sh*t china made 20" wheels and then everyone compliments them on how good it is. yet they sit a mile in the guard and look like sh*t. here are some examples of good fitment ive found on a FG Im looking at a set of Volk Racing CE28ns in 19" for my ute!!!
