  1. Have seen this car in the flesh. Not going to argue about who tunes the car etc.. its personal choice n I will stay with Ian as I believe he does good work imo. I myself will be sticking with the small turbo and seeing how far I can push it. I have a manual so not as easy to get a quick time as with the zf. Big power does not always equal quick times
  2. Cheers. Hope to see you there. I'll be driving a nitro xr6t sedan personalised plates. Just come say g'day, always keen to meet more car lovers like myself.
  3. Thought gates open at 5 as per usual but could be wrong. Getting in early I think as I believe there will be a fair few cars being the last street meet.
  4. Anyone keen on townsville drags this weekend 11th? Couple mates and myself are heading down from Ingham as it's the final street meet before its all shut down. Few of us might be running as I definitely will be and weather stays fine.
  5. Thanks for the replies. Thinking I might spend the extra money and get the turbo side intake just because of all the above reasons. I love the sound of the turbo coming on boost and once I get a tune later down the track, I might feel abit happier knowing I spent that little extra. Hopefully I can sell the bluepower but its a little hard trying to find someone to buy it like mexicanbatman has stated. Not many people in my town have fg's and I'm too lazy to sell on the net haha.
  6. Looking at getting plazmamans 4" airbox & battery relocation. Have a Bluepower CAI sitting around from previous car and was wondering whether its worth getting the plazmaman box over fitting the old Bluepower intake? Any benefits from turbo side intake rather than leaving the factory cross over? Does it gain more induction noise? Spool turbo quicker due to less travel? Opinions? Possibly upgrading turbo in the future and the car is a FG.
  7. Ian said that he'll be looking at the car and tune so hopefully will be able to find out some more information on it soon and see whats actually going on and what power it is actually making.
  8. Sorry if that got a bit confusing. I don't own the fg that has been tuned by LG, I do however own a fg myself. I heard about the white fg being tuned by LG Automotive locally which got me interested in how well these smaller turbos work with these motors but even to myself the 400+ seemed a bit unbelievable, especially to what has been done to the motor etc.
  9. Only new to the forum and dont post very often or at all. The proclaimed 400+kw fg with standard turbo was tuned by LG Automotive in Townsville. The person tuning the car, from what I've been told, is only new to tuning these vehicles. Ian from Aitkenvale Auto has told myself that he will be taking a look at the car to see what has actually been done to get such numbers and believes it is pretty much bs and well unsafe for the motor etc. I believe Ian knows exactly what he is talking about as I have heard nothing but good things from his workshop and he has never gone wrong by myself, always aiming for the most power and doing it safely. He will be carrying out the work on my own fg and I would like to push for as much power as I can out of the standard turbo.
