Lol senna im confussed. I have the super streets so to lower the car I wind rings down yeh? And also to lower it by 20mm for eg. do I wind the rings down by 20mm?
I want to lift the car up by about 20mm as it sits too low for my liking. Front bar hits. I have Tein coilovers. If I want to raise it by 20mm, is this how much I also wind the collars down by or is there a ratio to follow?
For 2k they would not add a high volume pump, mod valve bodies and add clutch plates. It will simply be a factory rebuild. How much power r u running through this 2k auto and for how long?
Unless you have a machine which flushes the sytem you are only changing the oil in the pan. A lot of the oil also sits in the converter. With regular flushes you will eventually freshen the whole lot up. If you are only dropping the pan an replacing the filter more regular servicing is required to ensure that you are cycling the old oil with new.
I gave mine a small hit today @ about 40 deg and the car almost went like a stock T.Lol. Inlet temps are too high on these hot days. Must be a sh$it load of timing being reduced.
My car had a custom tune from Intune when I bought it. Was pinging its head off. When I took it to John he said its normal for these to ping a bit???????WTF????
Yeh u done it ass about as the center muffler was already straight through. It's the rear muffler that's an issue. Shine a torch through the rear tips and have a look. For the power your looking at it should be fine though.
320rkw @ 14psi. See if you can get the rear muffler changed for a straight through item prior to the tune as the xforce twin rear has a 1 3/4" bottle neck in it.
Intercoolers on superchargers work exactly the same as they do on Turbos. The air from a supercharger is still compressed and heats up and thus needs a heat exchanger to lower the intake temps. The needand benifits of a larger intercooler will be obvious once the boost pressure is increased over standard.
Why would you bother with the dump pipe if you don't want to retune? Are you doing some mods in stages and want to drive with it like that for a while? Most of the boost spikes are caused by free flowing cats and not the dump pipe.
One just came up on ebay again http://cgi.ebay.com.au/genuine-garrett-gt35r-vl-turbo-xr6-ford-holden-/190495457205?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item2c5a69ffb5
You can swap the exhuast housing on them no problem. With the .70 you need to be running some decent boost through it to benifit. Some say it creates some lag.
