  2. P-BA-xr6 just letting you know I ripped the icc out and swapped screens over and bingo worked first pop.
  3. Hey mate same thing happened in my Bf F6. The screen started flicking one day then never came back on. Everything still works fine but just can't see anything. I pulled the icc out and looked to see if anything was unplugged etc but no luck. I just bought another screen so hopefully in the next week or so I'll pull the icc out again and swap screens over and see what happens

  5. Just glad it didn't lunch my engine
  6. Hey guys I could hear every now and again what sounded like the timing chain hitting the rocker cover when I start the car so I pulled the rocker cover off tonight and sure enough the black plastic guide that sits between the cam gears had snapped off. Luckly I found the guide I one piece and somehow it hadn't fallen down Into the timing cover or worse stuck between the chain and cam gear. The car still runs smooth as and hasn't jumped any teeth but there's a nice rub/groove mark on the inside of the rocker cover from where the chain was hitting the rocker cover every now and again. My question is what causes the guide to break and do I replace the plastic guide with a genuine replacement and run the risk of it happening again or does someone make a metal/billet replacement one? I know Atomic make a aftermarket bottom tentioner but what about a top guide? Any info or advice would be greatly appreciated. Cheers
  7. Yeah cool exactly my thoughts Arron! on the same page now! That's why I asked because I thought there would be to much clearance between the blades and inside housing....therefore making it not a worth while exercise. Might have to get the verniers out and do some measuring.
  8. Think u might be a little confused Arron. I'm not talking about fitting a GTX core to my stock .50 cover or anything like that and the GT3582r(.70) has a 4" intake like the GTX .70 cover. I know many people have put the .70 with the 4" on the stock 35/40 even Christains nizpro car ran this a some stage...maybe even a 9sec pass. My spare front housing is def a GTX and have been told by a few people that the GT3582r and the GTX3582r housing are the same except the GTX has the anti surge.
  9. Cool thanks mate. Anyone used a GTX cover on there 35/40?
  10. Hey boys and girls was wondering if anyone could tell me if the front compressor housing that comes out on the GTX3582r is the same housing as on the older GT3582r but with only the 'anti surge' feature? I noticed that the GTX compressor wheel inducer size is 62.45 where the GT3582r has a smaller wheel inducer of 61.36? Why I ask is because I was thinking of doing the simple mod of putting the bigger .70 housing on my 35/40 as I have a GTX front cover just laying around and my turbo needs to come off anyways. So my question really is do I have to use the GT version on my turbo or will the GTX cover be fine? Cheers

  17. Lol don't give away all my secrets! Bitches wash car.....leave prego
  18. Good clean water supply is prob the most important along with clean brushes etc. A lot of auto washes especially ones in servo's have poor maintances schedules that lead to poor quality washes. Most servo's use off the shelf chemicals and soaps where as most stand alone car washes and hand held bays design there own soaps etc. Plenty of variables when it comes to car washes but at the end of the day if the equipment is average and water quality is sh*t house your ride suffers
  19. *buzz me
  20. Thanks fluff! Some times it's hard to convince people to use the auto wash especially if they have washed there car by hand for years but once they use it the majority continue using the auto wash. We been there 7 years now and still not one scratch caused by the auto wash. As far as the young wog boys with the commies there pretty good. They been coming there for years and keep it tidy. Plus they buzz when the change machine is jammed lol.
  21. Haha that's Campbelltown for ya fluff! But then again you should feel at home being a wog yourself!! Let me know when you go there if I'm not there I'm usually not far away.
  22. I use one of these kits.....good bit of gear and easy to install. You can stick a small fan on it to if you don't mount it in the front grill.
