As a devoted Ford owner and supporter, I'm completely gutted. I still cannot believe how many ways Ford teams can find to piss it all against the wall and continually fail at this event. Lowndes and Ambrose clearly had 2 of the quickest cars there. Lowndes did'nt need to go out as hard as he did and make an error by clipping the wall, he clearly had the pace to stay in front and in control of the race. What a wasted opportunity. AGAIN Then Ambrose, Luff and Ingall clearly deciding they were above the rules. These decisions clearly cost them the race win, what with drive through penalties and then having to stop to put the bloody thing on If they had done the right thing he may well have been in the race lead not back amongst the pack. Ross and Jimmy Stone should impose their own penalties on these clowns as well. Not only did they throw away a very likely win, it has also hurt the championship position. And then there is the damage to that beautiful Pirtek Falcon. To think that is the same car they built almost 3 years ago and won 2 championships with and very rarely had a dent put in it. To see it looking like that Well!!!! And I won't even get started on that Fu*kn clown Murphy NO MORE EXCUSES FORD!!! you clearly have the quicker cars it's time for results before the window of opportunity pass you and your supportes by. end of rant I'm off to cry in my stubby again and say "If only". macka

Personally, I would'nt have any other colour Always looks clean and tidy. You also don't see many on the road compared to all the other colours. makes them stand out more when you do see one. macka

Funny you say that macka , that something we are looking at as we have a spare xr6 turbo ute <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Great minds think alike Hopefully you will have a crack at it It would be awesome to see someone really build something special and build a dedicated racer using the ute as the base and using Ford the turbocharged 6 Shortened 9" some big slicks, proper suspension in the arse to get all that grunt to the ground. go on you know you want to I know I would if I had the money macka

Adam, How about getting a ute and putting all your goodies in that. Get a super strong 9" diff, tub out the back and put some real big rubber under the arse end. No CV joints to worry about then. fit a larger turbo and try for an 8 sec fastest ute as well a sedan in Australia. has to be Whinter White of coarse macka

I can understand your decision Adam. I returned mine back to stock, I enjoy mine as much now as I ever did even when I was making more power. I just drive it once or twice a month. Even though your car is in a different league to mine, you will still enjoy it back in it's street trim. You can certainly be proud of what you've acheived. And the best part is that the records you created will always belong to team Winter White. Look forward to your next project but please anything but a mitsubishi macka

Yeah, I'd sell it for sure. Bugger the depreciation, if you are saving the hassle of re-registering in a new State <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Ani, its not the hassle of re-registering the ute but the hassle of the two other cars and getting them all up there as well. One has to go, shakn would give me a better return of beer tokens. The other don't have the the thrill factor though I get your drift macka

Thanks for the welcome guy's, even though I kept looking over my shoulder to see where all the echo's were comiing from . I plan to be up there approx 17 Oct. I'll have a bit of a look around to find someplace to live and the rest of the family will follow when the Vic school year is completed. Look forward to some cruises, beer, sandy beaches and more cruises, beer and sandy beaches with some work mixed in just for a reality check So how many T are around the Caloundra area? Good news So are the new auto changes now included in the SCT generic tunes when you first purchase the flasher? Or do you have to have them custom tuned as well? An answer to Georges question would be good as well. On how will the new changes effect modded transmittions? Good to hear that you've also got some extra ponies under the bonnet as well. macka
