  1. thanks dagabond, time I mentioned OK
  2. Herrods use the original cat they seem to think cat has good flow until you want to really push to the higher power limits. Nizpro have the same thoughts about this. They use the standard exhaust until stage 3. Exhaust cost $800 with dyno before and after. I could have got it done cheaper somewhere else maybe? but I drove up asked about it and they said they could do it there on the spot. I love the sound they can get out XR8 & GT's so I though I'd give them ago. BMC filter cost $150 The sound seemed a bit droney at around 1500 rpm when I first drove it, you get used to it pretty quick. Just a deaper note than the stock exhaust more than anything. Cruisin along the road at 100 kmh sound is no louder than a stock exhaust can hardly hear it. It sounds great when you open the thottle. Can't sound to much different. Miss's xr6t has been in it since I've had it done and has'nt said anything and she does'nt miss anything like that if you kow what I mean Any suggestions about cold ait intakes. SS Iduction Has anyone used the BPT intake seems to well constructed $322 + Filter Do they make any great difference to performance? as some are claiming or would it be better to stick with what I've already got and put money toward ECU upgrade? I know on my dyno test when they change over to the BMC filter it picked up 2 kw SS Induction Has anyone used the BPT intake seems to well constructed $322 + Filter
  3. Mark, where exactly is westgate shell because I can come around on the ring road and over westgate bridge. what time to you want to meet up I was thinking 8:15 - 8:30
  4. Just had my first mod done new exhaust from the cat back by Rob Herrod and I'm very happy with the result, cars sounds better and picked up 14 rwkw. Is only the beginning and can see how you guys get hooked. Cold Air Intake next then Xede or Unichip. leaning towards the Xede hopefully they'll have the start up sorted by then. what's your thought's men!!
  5. Chips, if your travelling from the westgate shell maybe we can meet up on the way through and travel to cranbourne together. name a place and time and I'll meet you.
  6. Chips that's why I bought a ute, if a want to go on a cruise I don't have to put up with them arguing. as well as that their at that age where they don't want be see in public with there parents, which suits me
  7. Yer! it's a fare days drive but I just love drivin the car the longer the trip the more time away from the kids. It will be great to go cruisin with other T lovers as well. See ya's on the 18th
  8. thanks I'll be up early so I don't keep you all waitin
  9. My T's is sick. Full trans replacement being done next week. It took 3 visits to dealer complaining about noise from torque converter and lack of drive and torque from motor. they finally got a man up from ford. Faulty converter and gear selection problems. glad I held of on mods could have cost be big time 185 rwkw :laughrolling:
  10. 18th is good, Look forward to meeting everyone. How long do you think it will take to get to cranbourne from the start of city link on Bendigo side. I want to work out how long it will take from home, so I don't keep anyone waiting. Have'nt been down that way for a while :laughrolling:
  11. Hi Guy's, Is this cruise open to all forum members. You can count me in if it is, it sounds like a great trip. I've got to travel from Castlemaine. that's no problem what'a a couple of extra hundred k when your drivin a T. Have been reading your posts for some time and it will be great to meet you all. 18th would be good for me.
  12. Had my T for 3 months and clocked up 5500K. I've had mine back to the ford dealer to complain about the same problem. I reakon mine has lost some power as well they did boost checks and stuff but could'nt find anything wrong. It feels like there's no torque or the auto's slipping revs but there's no go. One thing that I did was change fuel brands. Was using BP 98ron but have changed to mobile. There has been an improvement in power and my fuel economy is much better. But I still feel its not the car that I drove out of the showroom I am going to take it back and have the auto checked seems to be noisy in 1st to 2nd
  13. I have spoken to Herrod motorsport about doing a power upgrade to my T they recommended that I use their Cold Air Induction $650 A new exhaust $1300 for stainless and re chip $1500 all price include installation. Has anyone had this done by Herrods and how did it turn out? How much Kw's. They have said that it should produce 300Kw easily. Do you think that this is good value for money
