  1. Another pic of the UniFilter
  2. Another after market air filter from Unifilter for the BAand BA xr6turbo macka
  3. I used a BMC flat panel filter and had it dyno'd before and after. $150 for 2.5 extra kw's you can make up your own mind wether it was worth it or not macka
  4. Big Mick does'nt matter what it looks like as long as it does the job. I would'nt be holding my breath till you haveto change filters. Now that you know it works you can make a pretty one. Can I suggest that you go to a 4x4 wreckers and check out a Nissan or Mitsubish Diesel engine. Buy the bracket that bolts on to the head and also the filter head. As these filters are a reasonable size probably holds a litre, should'nt have to change very often. Maybe every 12 months I reckon maybe even longer Go down to any auto parts shop buy a new filter. As these have a metal case you can sand and repaint. Connect up to your breather hoses and you should have a neat looking Air/Oil seperator Let me know what you think macka :holiday: PS Mitsubishi filters are probably cheaper
  5. Why cant people take responsibility for their own F@@@@ck ups If they are grandstanding I don't think that the other teams would be overly impressed with them, insinuating that someone in pit lane was responsible. As I said in another post Expensive Daewoo are getting desperate. The only way that Ambrose can be beaten is if he stuffs up ar another Ford Punts him off the track. I have to change my OP about Skaife after the weekend he could have put Marcus out of the race but chose not to. It might have been different if it was John Bowe etc
  6. Hi Guy's, Glad to see so many coming, I'll supply the meat and drinks, Some light and heavy beer some soft drink for the kids. If anyone drinks something else let me know so that I can get for you. If some would like to bring a salad would be a help. It would be good if you could meet some where in melbourne and cruise up to Castlemaine together. It takes 1 hr 10 min from Calder raceway to get to Castlemaine. So if you can get here around 11 ish it should'nt be to early rise more most. If that's to early let me know. I will attach a mud map how to get to my place or I can meet you all in town at the back of the local IGA supermarket I'll pm Geea my phone number so you can ring when your getting close. Looking forward to it Macka
  7. All family members are welcome size does'nt count. Their all future ford drivers, have to educate them early about the finer things in life. macka
  8. Good news Big fella, I could see no reason why it would'nt work when I discussed it with you in earlier posts. Whre did you mount it and how did you connect it all up macka
  9. crissco, It was in the way that he said it that got up my goat. That's where you, me and Bright are different. If your car is'nt the best car in the race you simply don't deserve to win. I don't care if it's a ford or holden. There is no glory in wishing the other car breaks down. As much as I dislike Skaife I have never heard him come out and say that about fellow competitors. I still think someone in his own team stuffed up and has'nt had the guts to own up. my 2 c worth
  10. Maybe one of their own did it and has'nt owned up. You'd think they would be watchin their garage and cars all the time. After what Bright said at bathurst a couple of years back when another Ford was leading the race hoping it would break I don't really care what happens to the mungrel. Might sound harsh but I have no time for the arrogant SOB
  11. I've been there when they've done one. They have got it down to a fine art. They drop the motor and gearbox under the car. They say that they can do the job a lot easier and line up headers better. less risk to customers car also. Does'nt take them very long they were also dynoing a GT pulled 242rwkw
  12. Well Done When are these Expensive Daewoo Chumps gunna learn not to mistake ambition for ability. XR6turbos rule
  13. I forgot to mention Kids Welcome also
  14. OK guy's, Who's up for a trip to Castlemaine for a barby a couple of drinks and a closer look at my SHAKER SCOOP Date will be Sat 28th August. Like to get an idea how many are coming so that I can organise eats & drinks Macka
  15. Okay I'll start another post so that I can get an idea of how many are coming and also cater for. macka
  16. Guy's just consulted with Mr's Macka Seems that Saturday 28th August would suit best for us. Have some family functions to attend on August 21/22 and August 29 Or any weekend after that. macka
  17. Hi guys, Car will be finished this week and then I'll take it in for a re-tune. How does August 28 or 29 sound. This will give me a chance to get to Melbourne for the re-tune. Got to have her running sweet before I let anyone see her. Weather might be just a little better to for a Barby Do you want me to start another cruise post. macka
  18. That's the second Expensive Daewoo team with technical breaches. McConvilles car was found to have an underwieght crank shaft and lost 76 points. Things must be getting desperate in the Expensive Daewoo camp. All the S t that perkins was sproken about SBR has come back to where it belongs. All over his face. Wonder how long before they find something on Skaifes cars. Something has given them a big performance boost since Hidden Valley. That was the last time he was complaining of lack of horsepower.
  19. Where's everyone going. :loc: Geelong or where macka
  20. I've had a herrod exhaust put on my car and found them to be generally helpful and interested in what you want done. Until you ask them about a Xede upgrade. Thye say that they will do it but I get the impression that their not overly keen because of warranty being void. They have a very good relationship with Ford and most of their mods seem to be OK with Ford. Maybe they are getting some heat from Ford not to mod the turbo. just my my opinion after doing business with them. macka
  21. I agree with him Go Ambrose
  22. Great job Geea, Good times and consistancy as well. Your really giving me something to chase. Won't be long now till I give mine a run macka
  23. I agree with Dutchie, Even though I have only had my T since April I was considering changing from the ute to the sedan so the rest of the family could enjoy the car as much as I do. When weighing up the fors and against with the mods that I have done as compared to the new MK2 the only thing that might interest me was the 6 speed. I don't think that I could go back to the stock performance just so that I could have a 6 speed. I'll think I'll wait another 12 months for new issues to arise and get sorted and continue to increase the performance of my ute. They are also offering pretty good deals to clear stock as well. So with the money you save you can put into getting some performance out of it and I can guarrantee that you won't stop smiling then. That's my 2c worth what ever your decision you can't really go wrong. Your buying a great performance car and it's a FORD happy motoring macka
  24.  I've compressed them down a little small but don't worry I'll post some bigger ones when it's finished. macka
  25. Yeh, I'm hoping that it will keep the buggers on their side of line and off the road Blo*dy nuicances they provide a bike lane and they still want to take up the whole road.
