Yeh, BOOF was his beloved HaGa xr6turbo. One of the quickest going around and sourced all his own mods himself. RIP BOOF BOOF 2 will be better I'm sure

How it going Mondie, I would expect that it would but it's impossible to know how much. Give it a bit of a squirt coming home near digers rest. Man it hit the rev limiter before I new it. It went like a cut cat. :lol: Still can't wait to get the better valve springs done. Chuck in some more boost, It will be awesome. I still can't get over how quickly the engine lost performance once the exhaust valves reached there limit. It was instantaneous.

I've just had my T down to the dyno for some test runs with the shaker. I had the tuner put in larger injectors and was hoping for 270-280rwkw. My car fell short of this mark 256rwkw. Not because of intercooler or intake mods. The reason why I did'nt acheive the result that I was after is because of the stock valve springs could'nt handle any more boost. There seems to be a big variation between each engine coming out of Ford. So from my experience I don't think that there would be many cars that are producing 260+ rwkw are running stock valve springs. Needless to say I purchased new one no all I have to do is change them. I hope I can find some spare time, about five hours worth and that's if you know what your doing. HELP PLEASE!!! macka

I seen the colour chip the other day will I was talking to the sale rep. Rapid is a solid yellow very similar to the yellow on the monaro. Probably a little more golden though. I does look nice and fast but it's the sort of colour you either love or hate. Hmmm still pondering I do like the vixen as well macka

Hi guy's, Considering buying Xr6turbo MKII, Cannot decide which colour. I'm leaning towards Rapid. Only thing that concrns me is when I want to change over will the car still keep it's value or will it be harder to get rid of because of the colour.

thanks turbo06, It's good to hear encouraging comments. Cost is still undecided yet probably won't be finalized until dyno run and re-tune. We may still have to make some alterations. I have included some pics of how the induction hooks up I hope these are a little easier on the eyes. macka

Hi Guy's Been away fora little while. Carty has said to save pics and open them up with paint and it decompresses the pics. And they seem to come out a lot clearer. Hi venom xr6 each to there own. And it's good to geat feedback whether it's positive or negative I wasn't worried about whether or not it was a 6 or 8 I just thought that the shaker scoop on the xr6 bonnet would look good and it does. It also feeds cold air to the turbo which is what I wanted it to do. I don't have a problem using a SHAKER SCOOP on a modern car, whats wrong with rekindling some FORD history. Have you seen the new GT add with the old GTHO and ther new GT. If I re-designed the scoop the first thing people would say is that it's to ricey. As this is only a prototype there will be changes no doubt. The next version that I am doing will use the XR8 bonnet. The beauty of the 6 against the 8 is that the scoop canbe made to sit horizontal where'as the V8 because the way the induction is made would be impossible for it to sit that way. it has to point down and I and many others don't like it. No one who has seen it in person has'nt said it does'nt look awesome even Expensive Daewoo guy's are breakin their necks checking it out macka
