Macka, APS clearly states on the paper work that you sign when you have the car modified, that they warrant only the components of their kits on the vehicle and not any other part of the vehicle itself. That is a pretty standard disclaimer in the tuning industry. which makes sense ....as too ford they will not warrant any aps item That's interesting did'nt know that. If you don't think Ford are capable of finding the fault I would at least tell them of your problem and tell them that your going to take your car to a third party. If they find that it is a ford part failure I would still be expecting them to pay for replacement under warranty. Unless you are running some insanely high boost level that is generating excessively high operating temps which is unlikely. This would be their only way out I would think. Are you running the turbo down for a couple of minutes before turning the engine off? to help dissapate heat from the turbo. If your not you should be or maybe you should invest in a turbo timer. Especially if you've just been driving it hard. Ford still have to prove that your modifications caused the failure. If they have designed a system to cool down the turbo after shut down and its not doing what they've designed it to. It is still their baby. and should be held responsible to fix it macka
