  1. I have'nt finalised them yet, still looking into fabrication techniques to see if we can lower the prices for members. PM me if you serious, I can give you an approx price anyway. macka
  2. Thanks for the positive feedback everyone it makes you feel good about spending the money to get them made. It will be hard to take them off when I put my other shaker back on. macka
  3. How about covering them with silver foil, spend a couple of days smoothing out the crinkles I think Zap is right, sometimes you just have to save the money and pay if you want it bad enough. macka
  4. Paint them. macka
  5. Oh don't tease me. You know that you don't mean it. Seeing as though you are the only intelligent one here can you work out who I'm at Now you can take your bat and ball, leave anytime you like macka
  6. That's cool about the Shaker you ether love or hate it. As for polished or painted I was going to paint them mat black but thought they look to factory and no point. So I decided to polish them. Performance gains. you had better ask Envy - Xr6t about it. I think he was surpised at the difference between our two cars, both stock just different CAI intakes. People who are going to Calder tonight will be a ble to have a closer look. macka
  7. You gotta race I'm making a special trip down just to watch how you go. macka

  11. Oh the big time racer are we. Funny never heard of you. Please show me the rule and its by-laws. If this is one of motor racing rules then 99.9% of the drivers break it everytime they race into the first corner. They should either ping drivers everytime or forget the rule. There is no way know that a race driver would give up the lead of nearly a full car lenght. Get of the moon juice and watch the race again. Ask yourself would you give up the clear lead like Ambrose had until the final lung if you were in his position. One thing is for sure Snoze would'nt have. He would'nt have been given a drive threw either. macka
  12. Just went to the V8 Supercar site and looked at the points. So far and its early days, with each driver dropping their worst rounds. Points for the top 5 are Ambrose 370 Ingall 370 Richards 306 Skaife 300 Wheel 279 Looks like it's going to be a close year. macka
  13. What a lot of BS. If they were side by side yes. But marcus was nearly a full car lenght in front until that final lung by Snoze. If big nose had of punted Ambrose into the trap instead you all would have been bleeding like stuck cops about not being up to the B pillar. Skaife should have conceded defeat and pulled in behind. This is what most drivers would have done. He still would have bagged a descent amount of points or could have quite easliy won the race and the round and have his championship back on track. It was his choice and he F*cKed up. If the situation was reversed he would have done exactly the same thing. I bet it would have been deemed a racing incident and that is all it was. Seen the same thing happen time and time again everytime the cars came to that corner. The Fords and Holdens had two distinctly different lines into that corner. macka
  14. Scotty, I was going to make my own so I priced a tube & fin core approx the same size. Trade price is $580. Then you have the end tanks and brakets R&D costs need to be recouped. I think any IC under $1000 is good buying unless you want the al cheapo cores. It was going to look the same as that. I won't bother now. Price would have ended up approx the same The FPV IC is well over a $1000 and it is only 2 stock IC cut and welded together with different end tanks. Not a bad price and you don't have to change any plumbing. Mybe for a group buy they might drop the price a little macka
  15. Heres a pic for you of what I've got on mine. macka

EMS 8660 drives injectors, timing, ect it also has camshaft manipulation functions as well. It is also cheaper than Motec. Does anyone know if the factory PCM will run engine with out Body control Module. If it did you could chase one up from a wrecker and then use Edit to tune it and leave throttle body on I know where to get an N/A engine Auto Trans with matching PCM. macka
  17. Zap, Sorry I did'nt read your last post right. I've just downloaded the software for both tools, tools might do the same thing but software is different. I cannot say If it would work on the BA. I know the tool I'm looking at will, unsure about yours nice looking software though. I have contacted other makers in the US and they say that it will work. It would be best to contact them and see what they say. :banghead: macka
  18. Great Idea :banghead: well done to Capa. Might inspire Geea to cut and paste his Xede. Craig, Deanno and Adam are the only ones that I see are capable of pulling it off. There is penty of big power T running Edit but they don't have the track experience of these guy's. Good luck to all who try. macka
  19. Yep, The tool is suitable for all BA Falcons including Turbo :banghead: Free software updates as well macka
  20. I have been looking at this one http://norcom.net.au/~bpt/can_scan_tool.htm Comes with everything that you'll need. Not a bad price at $385 + postage from WA macka
  21. Sorry Scotty, Cannot agree with you this time. Marcus cleary got the jump on big nose and was in the lead heading towards the first corner and was intitled to try and get onto the race line. Skaife made a late desperate lung up the inside then braked late and got tangled. Skaifes front left wheel got caught up on Ambroses rear wheel breaking his steering. Skaife should have conceded the corner and he would have lived to fight on. IMOP Racing incident that's all macka
  22. Hi Pretzel, Did you check out the OBDII Scan tool. It displays all sensor readings on a laptop. If you have'nt I can give you the link if you like. macka
  23. Mick, Yes, if that is what you want we can supply it that way. Yes the finishing of is costly. People don't realise this when they see the price of things. But if you are prepared to do some of the work yourself you can save a few bucks. macka
  24. You can buy the OBDII scan tool $385 aud that supports Can bus with software. It picks up readings from the sensors temp boost A/F ratio ect. Clear fault codes etc. It connects to a laptop and displays these readings on a laptop. All you need to do then is connect to console display. macka
  25. These one's were made from mandrel bends. Depending on the amount of interest, I will use these as samples to see if they can be copied by the machine, which should help to lower costs. I agree Mick, coupled to the polished crossover would look hot JB, is't a shame that you have to sell your car. They would be a nice finishing touch to it. macka
