  1. Cat, injectors, and intercooler, tune
  2. Mine is the same turbo, I run a 1.05 exhaust housing, and I think this is good balance between size and boost off the mark.(I have a 6boost manifold though) I have a 3000rpm stall, and can stall it up on the brake. you wont have any trouble making power. because of the stock motor, I have not wound the power over 444rwks, 21psi) and the 10.4 @132mph was at 19psi 404rwks David
  3. There only a 750hp turbo, on the right exhaust manifold,(on a 4lt) they will make boost close to the standed one. David
  4. Well done, that's good octane boost, for your info, a full weight BF and ZF (with traction) runs 126mph with 380rwks, 129mph with 400rwks, and 430rwks as long as it runs as sweet as it did on the dyno, should see 133mph. maybe even 135mph on Townsvilles track because of the way the beams are set up. the time will depend on launch and traction on the night, but if it is good, might even see a mid ten. should open a few eyes up around Townsville David
  5. Very tough cars, WELL DONE David
  6. be good to see, I did not think the Capri would have the under bonnet clearance. David
  7. That's a tough ute, well done David
  8. thanks mate, but I think the owner Kent, should get the credit, he done the work not me. I just pressed some buttons. David
  9. that's what we backit off to, 533kws, don't know how he will go down the track though, just throwing power at these is not the answer, he could not hook up with 440kws before, so a extra 100 will be fun, but I would expect a breakage or loss of traction, also the valve springs were giving some trouble to I think, so we will see what happens. David
  10. it was already over what I was after, and way to much for a stocker. David
  11. yeh with a good drive it will easy do a 12. don't dump it use the hand brake stall it to 4000rpm, load it at that and slip the clutch off the line, don't spin, then with nice clean gear changes, she should have a mid 12 easy. David
  12. gave my car a run on the dyno today, still stock motor with valve springs, 21 psi 444rwks through c4 and stall 98octane fuel with some octane booster.
  13. the other reason is that some cars need to push a bit more through the waste gate then others, sometimes the 12lb one does not open as far untill the boost is gone to high. actuator is good for double the spring pressure, unless there is a major restriction. so a 10 is good for 20psi. but you normally wont have trouble with either unless you want a tune to stay down at 15psi or something like that. David
  14. that must make the top 30 xrt's all 10 sec cars now. David
  15. did he use to run NOS, that might explain the 5 gearboxes? David
  16. well done mate, good to see another xr in the tens. David
  17. I agree, take a auto r8, and a auto GT, and I think the GT will beat it across the quarter, in wheels the GT had more mph then the gts, so that shows it has more power, just the goofs driving it picted manuals, and could not drive them. David
  18. good race, I hope Scaife keeps driving for Holden. David
  19. PUT A HOLE IN THE FRONT OF YOUR STANDED AIRBOX AND A K&N FILTER (LIKE THE F6) that's AS GOOD AS A SS CAI. PUT A STOCK XR6T EXHAUST ON, WITH A XFORCE 5INCH CAT. GOOD HEADERS. IF AUTO 4SPEED PUT 4-1 DIFF GEARS WITH LIMITED SLIP CENTRE AND 2800 STALL, COOLER THERMOSTAT, FLASH TUNE CUSTOM 98 FUEL THE CAR WILL RUN HIGH 13'S WITCH IS WAY BETTER THEN STOCK, AND WILL HOSE OFF A LOT OF STOCK XR6T'S. ENDS UP A LOT OF FUN. AS FOR CAMS, THE RIGHT ONES WILL HELP BUT I HAVE NOT HAD ANY EXPERIENCE WITH CAMS ON BA N/A'S YET. DAVID
  20. Mate youcan't own a F6 auto and not mode it, if you are thinking of getting rid of it, put a stage 1 PW intercooler kit, injectors, and a xforce cat on it, get a mild 300rwk tune, do your self a favor and try that for a while, they are a different car at that level. its not the raw power at that level, but the silky smoth exceleration that without efort that makes them feel more nimble then standed.(and will give about 1lt/100klm better fuel consumption. David
  21. I run a standed one, with -8 fittings on the end, not needed at this level at all, but this is all for the future, when the car gets fast. when the stocker gives up. and the same with the auto, c9, but the stock one would have been fine at this level, but I had to buy a stall, so I put my c9 in so I did not have to buy two stalls. David
  22. that is a nice colour, I would try and find a BF auto, better auto, better motor, and less isues. and should be able to pick up one for that price to. David
  23. no there doesn't seem to be any discouloring or melting, I have had the standed overflow on up till now, and it was fine to, but ugly that's why I changed it. David
  24. here is a picture of my engine bay
  25. Well done Dany, that is good mph, and et, for pump fuel, and full weight. take the seats out, and throw some slicks on, and see the time fall. congrats David
