  1. Well done Lee, and Pual, that's making good torque, that's a good example of why you don't get to carried away with dyno figures, and why we like to see the track mph, David
  2. I am happy with mine, 106000klms,runs 9.4's @145mph, and still has not hurt the bushes or the centre, don't know another car that the rear can cope with so much, thought a supra one was tough, but me son ran it at the drags the other week (the bigger diff) and smashed the diff, with under 300rwks David
  3. your cams are not like his, his still lumps at 3500rpm, I am good at high jump, but I could not jump over his. David
  4. yes up hill first part, then down hill, with a level average, but the second half being down hill makes a bigger diff then the first half up hill, they all love it. David
  5. it is a angry car, did not think a xr6t could sound like it, you need to get Kent to send a sound clip so you all can here it, she sounds more like a pro stock car. David
  6. He hurt his auto I think, imput shaft, or oil pump shaft I think, comes with big power and heavy car. David
  7. It would like willowbank a lot, and it would like the down hill run to, if I can't get it right up here, might go for a drive down there.a transbrake locks the auto between two gears, so you can stall it upwithout loading your drivetrain, but when you let it go, she is fairly hard on the gear,my car has a lot of stock parts on it still, that would not like the transbrake. David
  8. The power was around 540rkws, just foot and handbrake, she fries the tyres with that only imagine what would happen if I hit the transbrake. David
  9. thanks, getting closer now, but not realy what I am chasing, and I expect them guy's keep on improving to, just want it as fast as I can get it. if that is the fastest, well so be it, but the three cars are unreal, to power the weight of these cars down the track at around 150mph is hard to comprehend, it funy listening to the crowd, they seem to get so excited over there basic street car running like this. few specs I weighed it at the track last test and tune 3740lb has not got pas seat in it and no back seat I am running a small tank in the back mainly so I can get two meettings out of a 20lt of c16 fuel. head light in, basic Atomic short motor basic Process west stage 3 race kit t51r and 6boost turbo and manifold c4 auto stock BA tail shaft stock rear with cromolly c/v's Dominator convertor anyone can buy 60lb seimons with 2 044 pumps full stainless exhaust 4inch(Mick Zamit racing) 28/10.5 inch slicks 90/10 shocks in front, stock rear shocks and springs full 6point cage drivin to and from the track(just change wheels and fuel and give it to her) lifts a wheel some times, but has to be a low 1.4 to do it. the automatic shop in rocky done the c4 for me, and has been very good so far. ( I was told that they built a good box, and has proved to be the case) there is more power to be had, but I am going to have to stage it from here, I think 500kw in first 550 second 600 third should see a 8. but time will tell. David
  10. starting to think about it. David
  11. Got a new pb last night, and done a best of 9.45@145.5 mph the car felt good, was just let down by my driving, and the dew came in, and a lot of the Pro Street cars broke, so there were delays, and that let the track get wet from the heavy dew. I was 1 tenth off my best 60ft, so if I can get my act together, all on the same run, that should get a 9.2, but happy anyway, and had a lot of fun. David
  12. the dyno was saying 13750nm I think. David
  13. Yeh Diana got a runits on her lap top, I see if I can get it. David
  14. I'll definitely be back for a drag tune soon to see if I can get kicked off the track at the next test and tune now you've proven my car hooks up and drives straight and controllable off the line! Cheers Justin that will be good to see, can't wait, will not take your car long to be kicked off. David
  15. no, standed cams, the lumpy motor you can here while I am staging is another car in the backround, if you listen, they turn it off while I am at the lights, you can hardly hear mine until I am flat. David
  16. I'm surprised you're not logging all your runs I should have, I use to, and I would have the info I need to know if I did. David
  17. What suspension are you using front and rear? front is standed springs, with 90/10 shock, rear all standed, just with upgraded c/v's. David
  18. might have to run the full wieght 9, then remove the excess weight and see how she goes. David
  19. yeh standed coils in front, with 90/10 shocks, back stock shocks, stock springs. David
  20. What size slicks are those? they are 28/10 1/2 / 15's
  21. Any info or dates for the next Palmyra test and tune? this friday night I think, but I will not be there, but I hope to run it in the pro street meet on the sataday, if my car is all teched by then. David
  22. yeh he wanted me to wind it up further, but I felt it had enough for a nine, (and it has) he just has to get his act together, its all new to him to. David
  23. got a transbrake, but have not used it at this stage. has more in it, just sneaking up on it (learning) the standed tail shaft seems to love the 1.39 60ft. had a high power tune with me (another 30 kws) but I need to go over this info first, to be honest I thought if I had run the power I run with the 1.39 60ft, I thought it would go 9.6 its not just about throwing power at it. I done the power a bit different last night, I pulled a bit of timing out, compared to when I hurt the old one, but put more boost in, and all I can think of is with the more boost, the inlet temps might have creped up a bit and pulled to much out, (this has got just your every day Process west intercooler in it,) so I might put some timing back in and give it a go. I expected about 142mph.
  24. If you put his best 60ft last night (1.50 60ft) with his best time 10.10 (he done a 1.58 60ft then) he would easy run a nine, also, he had put the wrong gears in, because the bigger tyres he was planning to use did not clear enough yet, so he was backing off and coasting across the line all night, so it is one quick ute. David
  25. thanks, I left at 10 psi, just as it started to ramp fast. Steve that was with a Atomic botom endwith the old gear off the other one, but the time and mph at the 660ft, was the same as when I broke the stock one, so I must have had near 500rwks coming out of that old one, through a c4 and stall so near 800hp at the motor when she poped. I weighed it last night at the drags and it went 3740lb. JP300 David
