  1. Both of these cars were built at ETM so a little bit of credit wouldnt go astray please. Its funny, someone works on a car for 2-3weeks,modding it,and someone else throughs it on the dyno for an hour, and they get all the credit, a monkey could tune these cars if all the work is done right.   2. to true, at $6000.00 for the housing axles rod arms and brackets, you will get to $10000.00 easy. David
  3. no they are running 28x 11.5 I was told.that is why my car is on the top of the list at the full boost list, they only count up to 10.5. but remember this level you can do what you like,we want an 8 sec BA with a turbo 6 in it, ( or boss for that matter) I would have put 11.5 inch on mine to if it would fit, but I will have to go to the 4 link rear as they have to do it, and my funds are not ready for that just yet. I have also been told that the Gech car uses nitrus to spool the turbo off the mark, would be good if Gtech can confirm that, might have to do that to if I put my new turbo kit on it (4788), either way, I hope we can see a 8 out of one of these cars soon.   4. u think even when the bonnett is up the 5 blokes standing around it u barely see anything anyway its got a nizpro plenum and a massive f3uck off turbo I mean fu3kn huge but I did notice it had a aftermarket coil/lead set up but I spose that's a bit of the hush hush Not mine, this is mine as raced
  5. Hi guy's and thanks, yes still the t51r 1.05 turbine .73 comp. I removed the exhaust and about 100lb of the good stuff inside, it has done good, I am not disapointed in the diff, I did not expect to last at that level either, the track was to good for me, I have been running at test and tunes, and to go to a fully preped track, I should have known better then to not stage the power, I think I was startting to think it was indistructable, justlike I got with the stock motor, (you would think I would learn). to thinkthe stock tail shaft out lasted the rest of the car has got me stumped, about 15 nine sec passes and the diff only let go because I kept putting more power into it, and something has to give, I have pictures I will get of the tires on the launch of the 1.36 60ft, it is hard to beleave the twist and flatening of these tires at full launch, I will post them up when I get them. I am going to work for a few day's, andi will have a think about it all, I might go to the 9 inch, but I do beleave these can run a 8 with the stock diff, but I will have to be a bit smarter at it, not just throw power at it and hold on. it is a bit out of my budget, otherwise I would have already done it. If it held together it would have been a good time. David
  6. as the title say's, I ran my car at the sunstates nationals on the week end, I had put a big effort into this race, and I am on a bit of a low now, but just trying to get some positives into it, I tuned it up untill it was making 598rwks, and that is through a c4 auto and big stall, so there was plenty of power to be had, but first run I detuned it about 50kws to see how it runs and that for the first run, she left good. one positive was it 60fted well on the first run, she ran a 1.36 60ft, it only run a 9.5 at 144mph, but when I pulled the shoot, (for the first time) and it must have unloaded the front tires, and I flat spoted them (down to the canvas)and could not do any more runs for that night. got some other tires over night, and first run the next day, I dialed in the full power straight up and launched it, and she went about 10feet, and smashed the diff, she smashed the centre apart in about 20 peices, and that was the end of my second day.   11. yeh my 10.95 had mt street radials on it, they are talking about basic street tires (like stockers), in my veiw no one will touch JP's time not even him with the same tire, every once in a while, you will get a run that just seems to grip like something way better, that was one of them runs, and will take a speical run to even go close to that one. BA's run high 11's with normal cheap tires a fair bit, but takes a good track of cource, but that is a good goal for you to chase (at least at first). David

Yeh, just a stock Ba motor with the same combo as mine, with a 4speed auto, the driver is new to drag racing, first run, he backed off because he was not use to the grunt, next run he kept in it all the way, and run his first ten sec pass, he is just a young guy who listens to what you tell him, and gets result because of it,he should be able to run consistent 10.5's once he is use to it. hope he had a heap of fun, I supose he got kicked off the track then. he is planning on putting a built motor in it down the track, although he might already got what he wanted, so might save his money.   16. the diff ratio is the stock 3.46 gears and liited slip, have not even changed the oil in it. yeh they are the full cv's, just remember, I feel the ones I have has got to much movement in the out side nuckle, I don't know if they are just faulty ones or not, but I was not happy with the amount of movement in them, also I don't think I have realy tested them that hard, I have never broken a stock one either, and it has a stock tailshaft in front of it, that has not broken either. just changing the nuckles sounds like a good idea to me. I don't know where they are made, I just bought them from C&V because they were advertising them at the time. if anyone wants the same convertor I run,just call Dominator, and tell them that you want the same, they know what it is, the size can be done for a 4speed or a c4, and they are able to give you lockup still for the highway in the 4 speed in.but it would be to big if you are staying with the standed turbo, but if your plan is to go to a bigger turbo down the track, we have plenty driving around still having the stock turbo at the moment. They will know it as the 3000rpm one that CPVtuning always buy's, David

  20. the Gtech cars 9.32 is a small goal,but I have the same goal as them now, a 8.99 or better. David
  21. No straight as, but it filled the over flow bottle, so I have some homework to do, might be lifting the head at boost. David

  23. ran a new pb of 9.433 @146.38 mph, had a bit of a scare at the top end, when coolint got on my driver side tire and sent the car towards the wall, but she came straight once I got off the power, and got controll off the death wobble. David
