  1. the 85mm pipe will still out flow the 120mm cat, don't worry they work a treat. David
  2. well done, con grats on the time David
  3. you will be able to use your block, and crank, but the head will have to be used because the turbo head has better valves. David
  4. thanks for that, that's a good gain, would love to datalog the inlet temps with and without. David
  5. I would like to know that as well, it would be handy info, I don't know how much they were running, but it would be good if he could do a run with out, one pass just to see. David
  6. if this happens, we will all end up with better cars, David
  7. by freezing the inlet air, which is a turbo cars worst enemy, see how your car goes better on a cold night, well this cools a lot more then that. you get a gain on a N/A car as well, but on a turbo car you get all the boosted air frozen as well, which is normaly a compromise because of all the heat that is made by the turbo, a n/a car goes better when the weather is cold, but a tenth or two is all that is expected, a turbo car can gain a second because of the cold, David
  8. the old nos works good on a turbo car, with amounts like that, around 50 shot, you get a 3times jump in power (150hp) jump, this can be even more sometime when the intercooler is not big enough to keep the inlet temps down, its a cheap way to get power out of them, I am surprised more have not done it David
  9. well done BIG EFFORT David
  10. I think each car has to have an engineering certificate any way, so that would not make any difference anyway (queensland anyway) I would pick the one that you feel looks the best, and the best value for you. remember I am not knocking any of these, just making sure peple realise its only a open plenum with bellmouths, so you should pick the one you like the best, I think the prosess west one looks the part, (high quality) I think in the real world, not dyno figures, a plenum shortens the pipe work under the hood, so it keeps the heat soak down, and the big coolers make the biggest difference, by cooling the inlet temps. David
  11. its not the tunes guy's, its the cars, they are all a bit different, even standed, and need custom tunning to suit your cars, some car they will suit, some they can destroy. David
  12. I think you will find that they will be all very similar in the power making ability, I like the look of them all, and they are all just open plenums, the runers are still standed ones on the bottem part. you will not have made a wrong decision which ever one you go to. I just have to say this, as I have been asked, why the process west one made so much of a jump when put on the old C&V car, (100rkws) well all I can say is that same car made 360rwks 4 years ago, with out a plenum, (if it had a the trial aps plenum on it at this time I am sorry, but still shows they are all around the same)and without even a edit, but with a aps intercooler, (stage 3) and 385kws with gutted cat and race fuel, (and ran a ten like this) so I beleive what this shows is they all make good power, and you should go with the one you like the best, they will all perform well. David
  13. I was hopeing to be there, but cannot make it, but kent will be there to fly the flag. David
  14. sounds like loose flex plate bolts, hope this is it for your sake. David
  15. he said the supra was going to be there, so he was not expecting to win, but just wanted it as high as it can.

  17. yes it is Kents, I think the motor got noisy last year, so he got it freshened up. I think it made 340ish with someone else tuning it a while back, but ithink that is what hurt the motor, I only got about 315 out of it, it might have went a bit higher, but I felt the intakes were to high, so I left it there. it only had a pwr replacement cooler on it at the time, it ran good mph for that tune. David
  18. yep, pm returned
  19. yes, but he is doing a couple of mods, and then a tune up, David
  20. I would not get to caried away, it will still be in the 300's I think, but I could be wrong. David
  21. second option. I have tune both, and there is the best power in the second option. David
  22. good to see you are all moving in the right direction, well done. David
  23. good luck guy's hope you rip some big pb's out of them. David
