that turbo, and 35psi, might have pulled it down a bit,would have been sucking in those clouds quick. David

no she was in the right place, but just by accident, the time was 9.992 @138.48mph so he just got there, there has been rain up here for 4months, so the track was very poor traction, we only dialed in as much power as we needed, because of this, and the fact that his fuel system is a bit border line, so we pulled an extra 50kws out of it, and he made it (and a ute is now in the nines) cograts to Kent big efort. A bit of a update on this motor of Matts, he rang me and told me while pulling the motor out, he found the boost hose going from the solinoid to the boost actuator had came off (at the soinoid end). with this off the boost would have swung around to about 25psi at 4000rpm, and would very turned the rods into Sbends. very sad for a good motor, but a big warning to everyone of just what can go wrong (a 2 dollar part as they say) we are going to work on some warning alarms to tell someone when something like this happens. Hey Matt, this is the time when I hate tunning cars,got to change one thing you said Matt, you did not ask to push it right to the limit, but we had not realy pushed it that far either, because of the fact you are in land, where bad fuel can end up getting into cars, we had almost enough Knock retard to pull the timing back to nearly zero, this power should not have hurt this motor, I hope we end up finding what has hurt it, I listened to the noise you sent me, a bit strange,very tinny, and to me almost sounds at a faster beat then the idle rpm. got to go to work now, keep in touch Matt. Jay Potter ran at palmyra Mackay the other night, BA xr6turbo, ran 10.46 @135.3 mph as he drove it to the track, this is with mt street radials on, not a bad drive for street radials, then he was kicked off untill he gets his cage, then he wants a nine. Be good to see if they can get there wide slicks to hook up as good as my narrow slicks, stock rear end, still stock shocks,stock springs, (no airbags) stock 110000 klm old bushes.if I go to the 9inch, I am not expecting to leave faster because of it, it leaves perfect, max traction, better then I have seen a live axle leave, I don't know h ow I could improve it except strengh.
