I think the GT is an awsome car and there is much more to it than accel times. You say the xr6 turbo is quicker than the gt, but a WRX is quicker than both in rain or shine, handles better and has better fuel economy. This doesn't make the wrx a better car. I don't know about anyone else but I rarely rev a car above 3000 unless overtaking. The GT goes hard enough for the streets, sounds awsome and feels solid in handling. The makers of the fastest and most exotic cars in cars in the world bmw, ferrari, porsche(bar 911 turbo), lamborguni dont use turbos, proving a well engineered engine doesn't need forced induction. Having said this the xr6 turbs is still an awsome car but is not a quadcamV8 or in the same league as the porshe flat6 or m3 6.
