  1. Nah you'll be right with those tyre sizes. The rear you could probably even go 265/30 safely but pretty sure that's a rare size and more expensive
  2. Is that the one with red walls that's for sale? If it is I think its like $32k which is a pretty good buy
  3. At $700+ install is it worth it? I'm considering either replacing heat exchanger or going external cooler when I do my mods. Don't do track work and probably rarely will, is just bypassing the heat exchanger and running an external cooler going to be detrimental because temps for everyday driving will take a while to get up or is something like this PWR exchanger worth it?
  4. Yea but he went about it the wrong way. Don't make it out to be personal issues, just be like yea I'm not happy, I want to take time away for the sport and then when tekno offered him a drive this year it wouldn't have been so sus I agree he's a brilliant young driver, probably one of the best young drivers in the field, I think he just made himself look like a d*ck to all the fans lol Yea the guys at 888 just know how to engineer good race cars and those 2 really are freaks. 2:50pm, can't wait lol
  5. I'd say your gonna have scrubbing on the front mate, you'll need a 245/30 tyre up front. A 255/30 will fit the rear
  6. Yea it's at john mcgrath and yea it would only be to have a sticky beak at the outside and inside. I don't want to drive it and tell him its mechanically perfect and then she goes boom lol. I'd rather him get a mechanic to do that but if need be I can take her for a spin lol Yea preferably black, because after all that is the best colour
  7. Oh my bad, Yea the breather that goes into the intake? I was under the impression that was the PCV?
  8. ^^ trimming bump stops or doing the springs? Both easy for the matter lol
  9. Watch this, it kind of explains it a bit
  10. Check this out! it's a new concept to drift championships. The idea being that currently drifting is not spectator friendly enough as its just 2 short and the scoring is too discretionary. Points are basically given for calculable things. G-force in the car, closeness to barriers, wheel speed and theres a couple of others! I definitley think its the way drift should be headed
  11. Sorry if I put this in the wrong place guys. Just wondering where most guys run the hose from the PCV valve when you change to aftermarket intakes? I realise most turbo sides include a pipe and fitting to run it into the intake but what other options are there cause that looks chit! Just curious cause I'll be going turbo side soon and don't want a big hose running over the engine bay
  12. Since when did Shane van gisbergen come back to racing? He had a sook last year and was leaving then comes back in a Expensive Daewoo WTF? Also spewing to see qualifying times! Expensive Daewoo on top, not a good start to the year
  13. Okay sweet! Yea like once we eat etc like by 2-3pm we don't have much else to do so might aswell go for a drive lol
  14. Well at the front if you buy FG falcon camber kits you can actually create more negative camber as they are designed for the falcon not xr's, FPV etc. But then you can also shim it up to reduce camber. I use stock brackets and they are completely shimmed with no more room to go and I have -0.7deg with king sssl springs. For the rear I would buy the adjustable upper control arms from wholesale suspension! Give you both positive and negative adjustment for the rears which you can do yourself. They're basically like a turnbuckle. But just be aware that to install the left one the diff cradle has to be dropped to undo the inner bolt (and yes this is the only way to do it) so add an extra couple of hundred $$ to the install to have the arms put in but once they're in your sweet. This is what I'd do based on personal experience with my car
  15. I bought a 2008 in black with 78,000 for $20000 in Melbourne 8 months ago. There are definitely deals to be had over this side of the country
  16. Is anyone keen on Sunday to head from Brod to Phillip to have a look at a car for someone on the forum lol A member is looking at a nice F6E and it's in Phillip so I offered to go check it out for him (he's from WA), at least see what it's like in the flesh and if someone can test drive it then even better Completely cool if no one wants to, just thought if we're out and about and want to go for a drive then we could go do that
  17. You're obviously not happy so go back and have them touch it up, if you're still not happy then run the low boost tune until you get the chance to go to Sydney and have someone else look at it
  18. Can I ask how camber kit will give it a better stance?
  19. You guys are getting ripped off over there! A lot of guys are coming over to the east to buy and driving them home. Much cheaper and more choices
  20. With those kms I'd go FG, a much more refined a car
  21. Yea if you're lucky a broken shaft will set you back like $1-$1.5k but when they go they like to break other sh*t so people have reported up to $5k worth of damage to the undertray, exhaust etc
  22. Yea possible that some bolts weren't torqued right and have come loose? Jack it up and take the wheel off and have a look around
  23. Yes some spacers have a centre bore with lip that is perfectly for your wheel size you just have to find them. Or you can use spacers and a hub ring to get it spot on
