  1. Yea that little kms but he says he drives it to work every day That's like 3000kms a year driving it everyday Seems legit...
  2. What's a break lol? My shifts are only ever 4-5hours so its pretty good. Yea pay plus tips plus whatever dinner I want is a pretty sweet deal!
  3. Nah sssl all around would be enough. I wouldn't want any lower at front because you'll start scraping and if you want to go lower in the rear go 4sl like me. it sits about 10-15mm above the lip of the rim
  4. Got me wondering whether I should go stock dump or upgrade going for 320. I heard the midrange increase is worth it
  5. Oh yea the pay helps lol Okay well let me know next time you go and I'll provided top quality service haha
  6. I didn't think you could hit 400 with stock dump Henz?
  7. Is anyone running an FG with a 3.5" dump? If so what brand etc I like di fillippo but they're too much $$. What are the ebay ones like with dump and cat for $700 in stainless. It's not much less than the xforce gear and it's a 3.5" dump not 4 so it's not like its 'cheap crap' is it? Cheers
  8. Yea I was going to trainer but when I put 275/30 on the rear the rolling diameter is closer to a 245/35 than a 245/30. Plus it in theory should be more comfortable with a higher profile. And I'm not sure if I'll get a 245/30 on, I'd probably be better with a 235/35 because of how high the offset is Just ordered the tyres. The guys at Jax are great. We're gonna test fit the tyres without spacers. If they rub will go 3mm, then 5mm then 8mm until we find what fits. Absolute worst case I drive around with 8mm spacers for a couple of days and order a smaller tyre. Hoping I don't have to do this but wait n see
  9. sssl all round isn't cop bait panda! sssl all round will only just tuck tyre all around and that's only be a few mm
  10. We'll definitely have to get in touch in the next couple of months and have a chat about what we're doing and who we're going to go with haha yea mate its definitely my favourite too lol! Just to make you feel bad I ate there saturday, sunday, tuesday, wednesday and will be again friday and sunday haha I wish I had that kind of pull lol! We could possibly go out for dinner there one night and I can try but doubt the bosses will budge haha
  11. I would probably go sssl all round BOT. Front needs more low aswell as the back
  12. Stud length does worry me a little! I have the option to go 5mm in universal aswell but not sure if +37 offset will fit 245/35 tyre I might just get the tyre place to put the tyres on, try the 8mm and if its too big try 5 and hope the tyre doesn't rub. Drive it around for a week or 2 n keep any eye on it and maybe change to a custom spacer when I can afford it
  13. There's got to be someone that makes a system that is noise compliant. Nizpro make their exhaust omission compliant but not too sure about noise
  14. Hey guys I posted in the fg thread but no reply and need to sort this out soon cause I need new tyres. I Have 20x8.5 +42 up front and I got them second hand and they came with 225/35's which need to be changed. Given it's an FG I know I can fit a 245/35 and that's what I want and I know I can make it fit with a 7mm spacer (not sure if I can get away with any less than this) I'm not going for flush or poke or any of that, just want to fit the tyre on. Now as for spacers I have 2 options. A floating spacer with universal fitting only available in 5 and 8mm and they're only $20 for 2. My other option is to get a custom made spacer with a dedicated 5/114.3 stud pattern, 70.5mm centre bore that tapers out to 73.1mm for my wheels but these are $130 for 2. If I had plenty of $$ then the decision is easy but I don't and I more or less want to know if its too much of a risk running the universal fitting ones? Any horror stories (or positive for that matter) that people can offer? Or if you know of somewhere that sells them cheaper or you have a used set let me know Cheers
  15. Didn't know there was an alternative option lol. I've got 88,000kms and a clunk (which according to pedders is the exhaust but I dunno). But in their report they said my bushes are pretty well farked! What's the chance that the knock is coming from the link pins? Also whats the price on these delivered at the moment given that thread is a few years old
  16. I would go the herrods over the growler. Not a lot of gain to be had upgrading from what you have now though
  17. Quick question Will these be right to replace my rear swaybar link pins with? http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/380381126731?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649#ht_4733wt_1395 It says BA BF but the Ford part is the same for FG so I assume these are right to use then. I don't mind that they're rubber bushes and not polyurethane bushes because they're cheap to replace if they go again in another 30-40,000kms. Plus this particular one has 12month/20,000km warranty Cheers
  18. I def would have put her in neutral revved her up and then let him go haha Yea I was parked down near those new apartments away from all the cars lol. I work just a few doors down at La Rustica. I'll be parked around there again tonight, and friday and sunday lol. Working heaps at the moment to try get my mods sorted by middle of the year
  19. So for everyday driving would you say this is a better option than an external cooler that bypasses the exchanger?
  20. Lol I agree with fluff! Would rather buy an ex cop car than an ex kosij car haha
  21. +1 for cruise to goulburn. Lets make it About August or so for a few reasons: 1. Gives plenty of time to organise 2. Gives the canberra guys more time to meet each other, as with Sydney/woologong etc 3. I'll have me mods by then lol
  22. Does yours sit high efsix? Yea I'd imagine if B series had a 4sl it would be soooo low. I had ssl in my BA and it was just tucking tyre, whereas in the FG ssl is like basically standard height Hey Pat have you spoken to a King rep at all to work out what the go is? Like from what I gather at some point in the last year or so King changed their spring heights (assuming from complaints that they're springs weren't low enough) but no proof as such, just that some cars have been popping up with sssl's in the last few months and the rear doesn't sit much higher than mine. Any sort of explanation from Kinf would be good because people are starting to get confused about what springs to choose and it must make it so hard for you guys to choose the right spring when a customer says they want a particular height and all of a sudden its 1/2 an inch higher than stated..
  23. Okay listen to this guy he knows much more than me!
